To make organic ACV:

The best way to make it is to save all your apple peelings and cores. Toss them all in a glass quart jar, cover with water and a tablespoon of sugar. Set it on the counter for 5 days. I than smash the peelings and core threw a small sieve to get out as much pulp as I can. Put it back in the jar and put a lid on. Put it in the back of the closet for a month. You just made apple cider vinegar with the mother.
Has anyone tried this? How do you keep the apple peelings/cores to stay under the water- I just started a jar and some of the apple scraps are floating.

I know all about the degrees of color blindness.. and I am aware that there is a danger of not seeing a person beyond the deer.. but statistically the most people are shot by somebody in their own group ,, and are "mistaken" for a deer..

we hunt mostly from tree stands,, If we miss a shot, the bullet hits the ground within a few feet of the deer.. Of course there is the chance of a riccochet,, but that has no bearing in the color blind attack..

Quiet day here.

Ok I am on board with wanting to add an olive egger to my flock,( I have an extremely varied flock and love the different colored eggs and hens) but I am not this extreme... am I nuts to think this is a lot to pay for a nice egg layer....

Hi all! Excited cause I get to eat out tonight! Half price Margaritas at the Mariachi! So OK I just got done locking/feeding everyone for the night and I was on my way up to the house and I heard "MEOW?" I thought one of my cats got out...no it was coming from across the road. I walked across and the MOST adorable cat came out of the woods and promptly flipped over on his back to be petted! Of course he is a whole male...longish hair, black and white(my color scheme) He is so adorable! His black goes down his nose and he has a black chin too! His underside is white as are his paws. I put an ad on CL--called all my neighbors...we will see. I am thinking our cat population just went up! I will take a few pics tomorrow for you all and for CL. I am hoping someone recognizes him because I need another cat like a hole in the head! Funny thing when I brought him up on the porch DH said "does he have fleas? Should we bring him in?" LOL!

OOps--he just messaged me--time to leave for the restaurant...later friends! TerriOexcitedtoeatoutandhavemexicanfare
