Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Hi again---WOW MXM--that is a HUGE pole barn!!!! Just think of the critters you can get now! That tree looks perfectly ridiculous up there...just like we planned! I cant wait to see it lit up!

My BC Magic is playing with a bouncy cat toy and she is jumping off an on the chair tossing it up in the air. She is pretty funny! She just tossed it over the back and is trying to get it back.
I just recorded a video of her...I will add the link. Funny stuff.

I am procrastinating about heading to the grocery store...I guess I better go and get it done...I think I will do chores first so that will at least be behind me.
Looks like a pretty nice weekend coming up...but rainy here I guess. I hope there is some sun...my son and I got the porch plasticked in record time this morning...I am going to hang a few hooks out there so I can keep a few outside coats there. (I think)
Uploading the video now...where is that little girl with the Christmas tree on her head????

Evening Everyone....nice to see you stop by raim! Kinda figured you had alot the plate. Good Luck with grandma.

The FF is the important part Doc...hope it turned out extra delish...we have the FFF kinda etched in stone here....me and suzie were talkin about the event for tomorrow already.

Neighbors had a extra deer to share. Me and suzie gladly put it to good use.....30lbs of nice stuff taken to Kropfs market for garlic summer and hot sticks....the larder just grew a little more....gonna share half with my bro. He hunts hard but needs alittle help with fillin of the freezer at times.

Fleet sells the starter/grower that you can feed from start til 18 weeks...just sayin.
I'm gonna turn into a nutrena fan though when Twain helps the ol bigz out maybe, eh MLH!

Nice building and tree mxm....no excuses now for not enough room.

Hope to get the new saw workin here the next few days. My back feels great and needs a beating...hope yours is feeling better Doc.

Hi all--grocery shopping was grueling! Now I am $184 lighter in the checkbook. Funny thing is that the same amount last year was right around $120 and I shop the sales! I cant believe how much food has gone up.
I took a few videos of the goat and horse. Here's one:
They are very funny together! The horse had a few scars from those horns too!
I'm glad I did the chores before going to the store. I saw my very talkative friend there....took a while; I hope the ice cream didnt melt too bad! Then I had to swing by the mill and pick up a few bags of feed they set out for me. I was very glad that DS23 thought of me and made me some chicken and noodles for supper! I guess maybe it helped that I had the GF noodles sitting on the counter! LOL!
So now I think I will head on up to bed...it sure seems like morning comes quick these days!
Have a good rest of the night everyone! Sweet dreams--TerriOthinkingaboutaniceglassofsherrybeforebed

Ok everyone is having fun at Terrio's...guess that is where our next meetup should be. Just put us all to work.
Oh boy! Careful what you wish for there, Kris! Terri will put us all to work, alright, building her a fancy new pole barn like Marg's, with a glass of sherry in one hand and a big ol butcher knife in the other.

(People who were at the last Bigz bash will understand). And sitting in a lawn chair with Tommy on her knee.

Evening all! Goat people- quick question. Should I be feeding my little fainting goats corn? Right now I am feeding them the same as I feed my mini horse which is baled hay and baled grasses from the marsh. If so is it ok to give them corn silage or do i need to buy corn? Thanks!

Evening all!

NWS is predicting a Wintry Mix tonight... I hope they are wrong.

Had an interesting discussion with my kids tonight. They are studying the JFK assassination in History class, so they watched the films and then decided to investigate what happened. They have come to the conclusion that there were shots from the front, not the rear that were the lethal ones. They are now impatiently waiting for the Warren Commission files to be unlocked in 2029. I am just happy they have shown an interest in our Nation's history!

The tractor is really looking good! Even better now that it is all back together! I hope DH drives it out of the garage soon so I can get some decent pics without all of the garage clutter in the way.

That is about it.

Night all, and stay safe!

Ang, love that FB pic!

Bl, sorry to hear about your budgie.

Bigfam, depends on what you're feeding them. If it is the "chick starter" by, say, Dumor, I think it is for the first 6 weeks, then switch to the grower/finisher from 6 to 16 weeks. If you use Purina's Start & Grow, you can feed that from hatch to 16 weeks, or laying age. Mine seem to go through a 50lb. bag kinda quick. How old are your chicks now? Have they feathered out already? Or did your hubby install a furnace in your coop to go along with the A/C?

Jim, awesome pics! I have been forwarding them to DH.

Doc, I almost doused the screen with the pool water comment. And again with the "oh lord, they're awake again".

And I completely agree with Bf4 having me beat in the queen dept.

So glad to hear you're enjoying the purries! Just wait til they're a little older & decide to do laps around your house at top speed, in the middle of the night, using your bed as a trampoline, and your belly...... Aren't you glad I shared this tidbit after you got them home?

That's for the female comment. Anyway, sibs are the best, at least in cats anyway. I hope Taz calms down soon for you. At least they can play with each other & (mostly) leave her alone.

Marg, can't wait to see Chloe's new do! That was so sweet of you to help Terri out! Things just go so much easier & faster with an extra set of hands.

Sweet barn, BTW! I want one! Hmmm, think Terri could use a new pole barn too for all those new birds she's been hatching.

No, we're not having a get together by you, Terri!

Unk, the Kentucks flush the chips in the outhouse. Get with it, man!

Welcome NDchickens! Hope you like it here & can visit often.

Good luck with the house, cs!

Judge, Terri is the "Goatlady". Maybe send her a PM?

Nothing new here. Chickens were loving the warmer temps and sun today. Jasmine bunny seems to be having trouble with her back legs again. Must be from the cold. I'm not sure what to do with her this year. She was so cranky being inside last winter, away from her beau. I do have a heat lamp hanging a few feet off the ground in there for the chicks. Which reminds me, yesterday when I went out to feed them, Jasmine was laying directly under the lamp with all of the chicks huddled around her. It was the cutest Easter pic ever! Too bad I didn't have a camera with me.

I better send this off before I lose it. The internet has been spotty lately with all the cyber shoppers, it seems. Sweet dreams, all!
