Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Hi All!

Hurley... sure hope the little ones feel better soon.

Dave... WOW.... glad your son is OK! Yes, make him earn his car and all that goes with it. They have a tendency to take better care of things they've had to pay for.

JJ.... My birds eat a little more now, not as much out there to scavenge for. Do you give yours table scraps? That helps cut down on feed and gives them a nice variety. Hope your girl feels better too.

CC.... Thanks for the link But we haven't got a good saw of our own

just a little guy for little trees and branches.

FT... Cute pics! I won't get into the sock thing

DrH.... Just had a though (I know) anyway, if you plan on having a tree up this year.... might I suggest anchoring the tree to the wall and plastic ornaments!

Nothing new here.... night all!

morning all, hope all is well

Hurley I hope your son is feeling better. Well when it rains, it pours. My washer died last night, of course months off warranty. I tore it apart and it seems to be the motor. Grrrrr. Looked up the replacement part and it is almost as much as a new washer. So guess who is going shopping today... I am glad I am mostly done with Christmas shopping and have a nest egg. Looks like dear sons 15K car dream is gone for sure.

. The former washer was a Kenmore, used to love them, but going for something else this time. At least I can afford to replace it, so I am lucky that way. I couldn't imagine going a week without a washer. I swear we do about 3 loads a day.

David

Good Morning Everybody! Looks to be a fine day ahead! Thanks FT for the info but think Sun P is a bit far. I'm takin bets on how many bunnies.

Addy looks to having having fun! But think it's really mean to be posting that cake pic in front of Jim. A guy I used to work with was on a special diet for his heart and one day while riding in the car with his wife he had to slam on the brakes and a pie slid out from under his wifes side seat.

TO I can just see Lemurs jumping all over your house harrasing the cats, dogs, and birds. ODrH hope that bug doesn't travel to the rest of the fam! And hope you get the Iowa Blues recognized! Neat birds for sure. Cindy ya I know all about tying the tree to the ceiling been there done that. Marjorine is turning into such a little lover. Taz is turning around fast. She lets them within 2 feet of her before she growls and is looking like she wants to play with them. Just hope it's not too rough. SR I'm with ya on waiting to see movies seems like such a waste to me. Money best spent elsewhere like the Dish bill.

Just misted here yesterday but see that everything is wet this morning. Bigz take a break! Was thinking this morning that it's been 3 weeks since I tossed the saw. Hate all this sitting around but the "back" is a lot better and hopefully will be up to snuff before the snow gets too deep. Gettin outside today! Chickens could use some fresh bedding.

Hey guys.......
Yes I am still living barely.......... its been pretty sucky here a bit depressed I think ....sure ain't my old self that's for sure.........
and No DrHa, I didn't get to take a bus ride but I sure wish I could have, they have been screwing him around well his trainer anyway, he is still gone, and so far he has had to spend 6 days/nights in a hotel twittling his thumbs, losing pay and not accumulating miles, while his trainer goes off to visit his wife, and son and grand kids, they are now on there way to Az. and his pay for the last 7 days $217.00............. guess me and the critters are not eating again this week.Worst part is he was here 40 miles from me, and had to spend the night in the truck because good old Chuck said he could not come home for the night even though he surely could have I would have even bounced a dam check for gas to get there and back, but no only Chucks family is important......... I'm so pissedoff........ and depressed he has been gone since Nov 13th........... was only suppose to be 2 weeks, but he keeps getting screwed around by Chuck who apparently can pick his loads to where ever he wants to go, and let Adam sit while he visits, so that's 6 days delay that he will have to make up to the miles he needs.
I hate his new job more than I can say, I wish we could live back in the 1800's where money didn't rule the world yet, and families actually got to be families, and support each other while living off the land, and there own hard work.

TerriO love the video's, but are you not afraid your beautiful horse will loose an eye????? Them are some impressive horns on that goat, don't think I have seen a guy so as well endowed except in the wild type goats. Love how they play tho, but I think a horsey friend would be a safer play mate........

David so glad your son is Ok, I dread that phone call and when it does ring late I jump like the devil bit me...... hope ya find him a nice cheap car...

So that is all I can think of just now ..later all. KIm

Oops WELCOME ALL NEWBIES I seen a couple I didn't recognize so I mus ta forgot the names tho...... sorry CRS is upon me today.........

Morning all! It feels like spring outside, huh? It's nice (because I love warmer weather), but strange for this time of year.

I went to see Sam Bush and Del McCoury play together last night. I'm not sure how many of you know who each of them are, but it was an awesome performance.

Morning all!
Got caught up from yesterday finally! I got up late yesterday morning and by the time I clean rabbit cages and got to the dump it was late morning! It was one of those days that flew time wise. By the time I sat down to do some lap top time I was 11pm- way past my bed time!! LOL!

My Kindle Fire came yesterday to today I will play with it! hehehe!

BigZ-Emperor....I like that!! Emperor BigZ sounds kinda regal...

David-Glad you son is ok.....hopefully he has learned his lesson. My first and only accident happened in my Ram. I was the 5th car in a 6 car pile up on a freeway in Cali. It was the day before my trucks 1st birthday....almost totaled it completely. Kinda wish the insurance company had actually, but live and learn.....Almost $15 grand in damage and they fixed it. It's never been the same since but I still love her...she is an awesome truck.... Hope you find a good deal on a washer...

TO-Lemurs? I can see you place now!! I cant believe they are legal in Wisco....Primates make terrible pets...I feel so sorry for them...living so far way from their natural habitat....poor things.

FT-cute pics if Addie....Happy Birthday to her! Love the horsie pic...I wish I knew how to drive a horse and cart.....

Well, gotta get going...
Later all!

Good morning good chicken people! It is sunny here and I am going riding at noon!!! I will pick up my friend and her horse and we are doing the ATV trails near here. Should be fun! Only one water crossing and I have done it lots of times before...whew!

ODrH--fingers crossed for the other boy! And glad TT is on the mend. I always hated when mine were sick...thank goodness I can count on one hand the amounts of times the three of them succumbed...healthy buggers for sure! Good luck on the IBlue thing too...that sounds like a fun project for sure. Maybe you can get your name in the SOP as a developer?

Frenchie I just want to hug and squeeze that little girl! She has the best cheeks! I dont agree with the whole princess thing either...but I have a daughter that is just like that! Funny how that works sometimes hey? I am glad to see you were out driving your horse and that she was good! I would really like to learn to do that sometime...I always thought my mare would make a great driving horse. Never did get to teach her that skill though. Good luck on the bunny thing...been there, done that. We have one Lop left that lives with the chickens and that is enough for me. Darn thing doesnt even EAT rabbit food. I am waiting for him to grow feathers!

We tied our tree to the ceiling a few times too DrH! A few years back we should've done it...the whole dam^ thing came down when a kitten jumped from the top...lost many, many nice ornaments in that fiasco! This year I am not doing a tree; I put my icicle lights along the beams of the living room aith stars and snowflakes and bits of greenery. Looks festive and is up out of the way! Might add some prismatic tinsel for the new year. I did that once and it looked great!

I just tried to get a pic of all the dogs on the couch but as soon as I click the recliner they jump down because they thing we are "doing something!" Ha! Got 'em! Lazy Sunday morning here for sure!

I think I will make some chili in the crockpot for supper. Maybe my riding friend will like to stay for dinner. I imagine the people wont be real hungry after the game today...but we will! LOL.

Oh yeah, Frenchie...I think you are going to have to get your G. niece something more than plastic foods to teach her about good nutrition! LOL! That only works if they actually EAT it! So you need to SERVE it...silly. I remember when my kids were small and I was doing daycare; we collected real empty boxes of foods and stuffed them with newspaper and taped them with heavy clear tape. Then used a bookshelf to make a "display" like the store. We had baskets to shop with and a play cash register to pay and learn about money and stuff. It was so fun! We had almost as much fun making the store as "playing store." Such great memories...

Kim cant Adam file a complaint with the boss? That seem like "cruel and unusual punishment" that he couldnt come home if he was that close! Sheesh, ya think the guy coulda driven him there if they were that close! Maybe it is some sort of trial to see if he can make it? It will get better, I am sure.

Guess I better get on out and get the critters fed. Can hardly ride a starving horse now can I? You guys all enjoy the game...I am going to enjoy the great outdoors! I had way plenty footbal watching the Badgers last night!
Have a great one! TerriOreallyreallyreallygladitsasunnyday

Table scraps are a staple with my birds. We have 2 children 6&2 so we have table scraps galore around here. I also will pick up various produce at the store for them. Woodmans is the grocery here and they put their slightly over the hill stuff in large bags for 0.79 so I am always hunting. If anyone ever wondered if chikens see colors, my girls love cabbage. Last time I found red cabbage they stared at it for a day like it might bite them before they tried it

I think the feral kitten is eating chicken food too. he comes and hangs out with the birds every day, and naps in the nesting boxes.

Annnnnnnnnndddd....DS3 is yacking this morning. :) Poor little guys. DS2 is feeling better, though we have stock in diapers and wipes this weekend. Poor little'ens. At least they are acting fairly normal other than expelling things from orifices. Hopefully have my boys back to health in a couple days. The little green machine by bissel = my friend. *grin*

Wow, what a nice day out today. Cleaned out the coop and rebedded. Juiced a bunch of veggies and fruits, so the chickens are having a grand breakfast of greens and BOSS along with their feed.

Better get going, lots of laundry to do. Have a great day everyone.
