LOL! JAMES--you are a suck-up!

OK so I tried this miracle duck fat to make popcorn...it is OK...takes a bit longer and the flavor isnt that much different. I guess it is better for me though...than canola which is "the new evil." I will say that the animals are much more interested in the popcorn!

SO the new cat is named Jaxon and he is in the bathroom. Every time I head in there may animals slip in with me. I dont think there will be a problem getting him acclimated. No problems with the dogs and only one cat hissed at him so far and he didnt react. Nice to have an easy introduction for a change!

OMG--these cats WANT this popcorn! I am being stared at by 4 sets of eyes...I think I need to go to bed!

I m so going to find someone to ship me some eggs at least this spring.

Hope Dr.H is holding up OK. It's hard loosing a parent, even when you know it's coming. I'm sure is Dad needs him now too.

GR... If you can't get the lights to work on the the trailer , maybe the person your getting the horse from can lend you a trailer, or deliver her.

TO... The picture of that feeder got me thinking (OH NO!) What about a chunk of (house) gutter with the end caps and a bent piece of welded wire fence?

No The lady doesn't have a trailer at all......... tried to borrow 1 but no luck I guess, I'm so disgusted with the whole thing, but I really want to get her...... she sounds like a great little ride for the kids and maybe the hubby if he is ever home, his gelding jack is sometimes a shithead and doesn't want to go out...... barn sour bugger.......... so he will get an attitude and try to toss ya, so I don't trust anyone on him just yet, until I know I have the kinks all worked out........... Adam hasn't ridden much and the last couple years neither one of us have, my mare is just green broke and being part Thoroughbred, she is a bit hyper/spooky at times I was also hoping to use the new girl to pony her out and about till she gets better at it....... that's the nice thing about an older ranch horse you usually can do anything with them.
I hope I find a solution soon, before someone else snaps her up........... I really don't know what to do, pulling the trailer without lights seems awful dangerous to me, maybe I can have Adam follow me so at least his blinkers work?? my luck it won't matter I'll get a friggen ticket for it...........most of the way is highway, either 54 or 10 ....so lotsa cop-pers..........
So anyway gotta go feed the puppies and let the chickens out, already fed the horses and the chickens at 5;30 when I started the car for Adam. so later all......Kim

Its the orange one, I have one and it works great for babies and even grown chickens or of course Ducks.........LOL

Long day yesterday, but the last of my swimming lessons. I am looking forward to taking the advanced class so I can improve my efficiency.

Came home from work last night around 9:30 and painted the bathroom ceiling and around the tub.... I get to do coat #2 tonight. I am looking forward to having my bathroom back! I think that if I get coat #2 done tonight I can also get the caulk up tonight so the tub can be used tomorrow. That is the goal anyway!

Morning All! Not going to read the posts I missed just don't feel like it. Hope everyone is OK! We lost mom Tues morning, knew it was coming but as is always said it wasn't any easier. She went peacefully and in no pain. Found out this morning dad checked himself out yesterday. Wish I had been at his house when he got out of the cab with a camera all he had at the hos were his jammies and slippers. Thanks everyone for the well wishes!

One of my sisters live 2 minutes from dad and will check on him daily. He goes out to eat all the time and he has a cleaning lady that brings him some good home made polish food and she lives 2 doors down. Sounds like some crappy weather for the weekend. Don't know if we'll go to Wausau for th Da Bears game or not. We'll see.
