Well I called my land lord and told her about the man in the yard, She asked what time it was and it turns out the neighbor on one side of us, his grandson's German Sheperd had gotten out at some time yesterday or the day before (they live a few miles up and on a side street) My land lord's son who lives on the same road we do, but up a bit about 1/8th of a mile, he saw the dog but the dog wouldn't approach. He went inside and heard whining and the dog allowed himself to be caught and he put the dog in the basement.
The grandson went to the wrong house- OURS!!
So luckily he called some one and got the right house and he has his dog back.

The meeting went... some where, I had my DH come with me as witness, so there was some small good, alot bad from the asst. manager/retail pro @$$ was not for what ever reason didn't sit in for the initial meeting he wanted to talk to me afterward, I thought he would have changed, yah... no, he pretty much drew a line in the sand and has dared me to cross it...
Well I am gonna be cagey and document everything!!
THis is gonna be fun! Not really but if I can force HIM out or get him fired, I will be happy.
Now I am not gonna gun for him, I am simply going to document all the crap he does and submit it over and over and over.
Eventually he will hose up seriously.
And my manager and DH are on MY side, my manager gave DH his business card, it has his email addy on it.
SO if I seem really upset, DH can call or email HIM!

nice looking blues delisha

my only blues are a couple cochin hens no eggs from them since september no more cochins for me

Thanks John!

How old are they? To young to stop laying?
they turned 1 in august.

I sold 2 hens and 2 roos from the same hatch just before they all stopped laying. the guy who bought the 2 pairs emailed me and asked why those stopped also

Not enjoying the whole go back to work thing....... all I wanted to do this morning was crawl back under the covers and sleep.... oh well.

You are all making me jealous with your hatching and chit-chatting about your chickens.

Now that the relatives have come and gone, things are somewhat back to normal. I do miss my family though..... we never spend enough time together.

John...I received a Cochin chick this spring and she just started Laying around Halloween and was giving me one egg a week and now stopped laying...not real excited about them either.
Love the blue black orp...are they as broody as the buffs? Love the look, but not the annoying broodiness.
