Cluck is a cute store and she is very nice. Very pricey though. Unless her prices have changed since she opened a few months ago. It was $18 for a 40 lb bag of feed. I can get Nutrena pellets for $14 at F&F for that price. And my girls can eat lately! Winter.... cant wait for the snow to melt so they can get some food from the ground!

I checked out their website. Darn it, I wish we had one like that up here. Looks cool. We do have friends down in Mt. Horeb and visit them from time to time. It's not thaaaat far from there

I grew up in mount horeb. I was born in Lacrosse and moved to mount horeb when i was a couple years old. I graduated high school there. But yeah belleville is only a 15-20 min drive from mt horeb.

you are right on the pricing. but its still really neat that someone would open up a store like that. just goes to show how big raising chickens as a hobby is getting. But we are only going to be raising 6 bantams so i think i will still buy my feed from her. 40-50# should last quite a while. I will let you know when we are getting back into chickens. like i said we are planning on building the coop in march if nothing else comes up. carol was saying something about her having a coop so we would like to maybe look into that. the only thing is we would like a coop we can move around the yard. Its nice to build a coop from scratch so you can add the features you like. but maybe her coop will work out great. you just never know till you check it out i guess.

My Silkies eggs from catdance finally arrived and are safe in the bator. She sure packs them nice. And I have so many extra that the few cracks will not matter. I and hoping for some really nice show quality. She has some really pretty show birds.

I hatched out from her last year. VERY pretty birds!
