I went to close all the birdies up. I was missing my white female silkie! What the heck? I'm looking all over, in nooks and crannies. I mistook some insulation for her. I then I looked in the mini coop. She's sitting in there all by herself. It's so cold! I hate her to be without the other silkies body heat. I hope she does ok...

Looking forward to my Starbucks fix tomorrow! I suppose I should probably find the incubator for Terri...

Thanks H&R...yep, this is our daily regiment...baby oil on a cotton ball and have used the fleet product too, maybe have to get another bot of that again. This particular cat seems to have a never ending health prob....not his fault, and I guess i'm lookin for something I hope i can find that works for him. His nickname is MR HANDSOME and agentle soul.

OK, I'll jump on wit the ear mite ting before I forget!

Sounds like he has a secondary infection from the mites, that's why it stinks! So, you want to kill mites and the infection. Yellow Dock works well and I would bet you don't have any dried on hand. LOL If it were summer I would tell/show you what to look for because chances are you have some growing somewhere! In the mean time, send me your addy and I'll send you some. What you can do now is take 1/4c of olive or almond oil and about 4-5 decent size cloves of garlic. Crush the garlic and steep in the olive oil on a warm stove (DON'T COOK the garlic) for about 1/2 hour or until you don't see moisture on the oil. Strain and use as drops in the ears. If you have tea tree or lavender essential oil you can put about 40-50 drops of that in the garlic oil too after it's strained. You'll want to use the drops twice a day for 4-5 days then repeat every 2 weeks for about 6 weeks to catch all the new hatches. When I send you the yellow dock, make a strong tea using 1/4 cup water and the powder I send (about a tablespoon). Bring to simmer, take off heat, let stand until cool and strain. Use as wash once a day before using garlic oil drops.

This should kill the mites, the new hatches before they can reproduce, and the infection.

I would never use mineral oil on an animal. Use Olive or Almond, the cats will be licking each others ears and they really should not be ingesting baby/mineral oil. We had to treat all 4 of our cats when they were kittens, oil in the ears 2X a day. If it is recurring, you should dose your dogs too.

I wish I had more of my 'special' cherries for the bash...... I am unfortunately out. I suppose I COULD try to use frozen ones just to see what happens....... maybe use brandy so we can all have grown-up Cherry coke's.

ALMOST finished with the cake. I hope I can get the pieces together without any breakage!!!!! I will take pics and post when it is finished.

Working 10 hours then coming home and working another 3 on a cake makes a person tired...... I think I need sleep.....

had my lazer eye surgery today.. my eye feels like somebody wire brushed it.. I have been ice packing it for the past 10 hours.. starting to feel a little progress.. still can't read,, IDK how my typing is.. prolly lots of errors..

have a good chance that I might get to plow some snow tomorrow,, Ollie is ready, IDK about how I will feel ..

This is the sh!ts,, I can't read or watch TV.. but I am not tired enough to go to bed because I napped this afternoon.. going to be a long night..

Well I think I finally kicked the stomach bug I had/have..

I lost my dear tiny rooster this morning, he seemed to perk up after getting the tar beat out of him by a young roo in that coop/pen.
He seemed to rally and then was puffed up yesterday morning, and when I went to check on him he was gone...
I will miss him terribly.

On another note, I went out to start the truck I saw this and HAD to get a few pics of it.. this is natural and not enhanced.

H&R I remember you guys converting the wine fridge but forgot you hatch for the kids 4H projects. Hope you get what your wanting! TO don't know if they'll let you in Starbucks in your jammies, that's pretty early for you. It fit perfectly inverted in the pail. Put some scratch in the bottom. Will have live mice if it works, any snake owners out there need feed? Will pick up some fluid next trip to town and make a Tomski's special. Oh denise went to get 6 came home with 16.

It's official your one of us. Poor girl! I need one piece of info and I can do my taxes. Think I can get it today and get that out of the way. Have some Bluegills and Crappies defrostin for tonight.
