Evening all, just reading quick for a bit.

We have our 1st egg of the second incubation working on getting out- it's one of our cuckoos.

Took this picture the other day when doing chores-no snow on the ground since they are inclosed:

off to sit on the couch and watch DH and DS(7) play wii baseball

OMG those ADS!

Well, the news here is...... THE CAT IS EATING

The DH and I went out for dinner, came home and I offered the cat about a Tbls of plain yogurt.... he gobbled that up and starting yelling for more, so I gave him another Tbls... as soon as he was finished he started yowling again, so I opened up a can of cat food and gave him that.... and he sat and ate it for a good 20 min.

And now, time for bed.

My dinner with DH was great. Was a horrible drive home and I did not get back till 3:30 this morning.

Kristy..cute hen house..I like the burgandy trim idea, flower box..maybe filled with chicken herbs like Oregano, lavender, comfrey, some tansy and other nutritional herbs.

The bright color of the tansy will look great with the green color.

Oh wow- that is all I can say....
Had dinner with the DH last night. Food was terrible, but I was just so happy that we got away twice in one month without the kids. My parents kept the kids overnight. I slept until 10am!!! I cannot believe that. Can't remember the last time I slept that late. I don't sleep well, and I am guessing I just needed it. I really paid for it though. I had one holy whopper of a migraine. So awful- made me cry. Thankfully my niece stayed with the kids so I could go up to bed. Feel much better now though. Just a little queasy and wiped out. Thankful that's over!
The chicks are starting to stink. Takes me back to last spring when I had chicks in here and kept them in the house too long. I hope they are enjoying it, because by Friday they are out of here! Yuck!
Still no eggs- figures too because I have been asked to provide my old music teacher with eggs. He sent me a $25 check, and I am supposed to bring him eggs every week. Well now no eggs of course/ I hope they pick back up. They were laying all through that cold snap and now nothing.
