was a busy morning.. Mom passed away peacefully in her sleep at 6:15 AM.. she was 98..

she had not much quality of life for the past couple of years,, but before that she had a good life..

now I am going to begin reading posts # 41 through 64 ..

I got a blue egg..I got a blue egg..:::dancing thechicken dance:::

I've had my EE since last aug. And I thought she laid these LONG pointy pink eggs I get every once in awhile...but this moring I got a very big blue green egg! Yeah! Getting a couple every day now...hope those girls keep it up. Still drowning in baby duck care...my cochin chicks.out of 16...4 roos..rest hens..I ended up with a great color mix. But I also have 2 very odd chicks...they might have feathered feet but I'm not so sure their 100% cochin...I think someone's roo had a midnight escapde....as my little black one now has ear tuffs and looks remarkly like my EE.

Hope your all staying warm...wind nasty here...we got about 3" ~ 4" last night...suppose to get dumped on tonight...

Congrats Congrats!! I can't wait to have colored eggs!!!!!

Smilies aren't available on mobile yet. As for sending PMs just click on their name or avatar. Hope this helps.
