Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Ok...you would think I am a totally newbie...this is my second incubation, but my first one only had about 50/ hatch and it was a year ago.
Anyway...so full turning tray of eggs...temp went down to 90 and humidity went up to 30...how long will it take to normalize again. Not touching anything with the dials as they were set last night and this am perfectly...
Thanks gang...
if you just put the eggs in the incuabtor then it will take a bit to come back up to temps. Watch your temp over the next 30 -45 min and see if it stablizes out.

It will do that if you just put the eggs in. They have to normalize to the temp and they also give off moisture. Nothing to worry about. Remember, if you got your "fail safe" temperature set...dont turn it up now or you will have a MESS!

Good morning all! I hate when a book from the library gets wrecked! I have had to pay for a few. I would think that if a book was in that poor of shape that it broke falling off the counter; they could give you a break! I dont think they are supposed to self destruct that easily!

Cind I have to make some HM pizza now....I have such a taste for it. Speaking of...yesterday MXM and I went to Waterhouse Coffee shop and had some lunch/coffee. I had the most amazing sandwich on a bun that was made from Tapioca flour. I bought a pack and think that I will try to recreate them here. It had such a nice chewey texture that is missing from most GF breads. MMMM! Good thing I already know how to do a good GF pizza crust!

I am heading to Hurley's place this afternoon and then to H&R's too. I guess my Easter hatch will be done by others! I am having my own contest...pitting them against each other!

Well I guess I should start moving here. I had to put the geese back in TWICE today before 9 AM! I think I need to figure out which way they are going and fence it off. In between my trips outside I dreamed that a rescue group came to capture them and take them away. I wasnt living here though--I was living in the little house that I grew up in! It was very strange to be sure!

Have a great day--I hope it gets warmer than it is for sure! TerriOalreadytiredofchasinggeesethisyear

before picking the next thing to worry about, ask yourself,"WWBD?" What Would a Broody Do? The answer is usually sit still and wait.

we start outside on a burner hooked to our LP for the majority of the boiling, once we have it down to the last 6 qts or so we finish it on our electric stove. We have 2 burners set up outside- one that we keep boiling and the other we use to warm up the sap on before adding to the boiling one- seems to go quicker.
