Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

hey zeke, interesting info, when I first saw eldorado on your header it brought back memories

in the early '70's I spent a lot of days hunting that area, started with snow geese at the marsh right behind the school. Then over a few years I got to know a few farmers in the area, used to get permission to train dogs during the summer on pheasants, hunted their land in the fall,,,,yup,,,good ole memories,,good dogs, good times for the hunters

the names escape me now, but nice folks in that area

good to see new folks in the group

Jim eggs are usually sold by the dozen,,,where did you pull 100 from?

I do a little hunting on my land. I hunted alot as a boy on my grandpa s farm, the cool thing is I can see my grandpa s farm from my farm. he has passed on several yrs ago, but its still nice to have all the great memories, I had 4 brothers growing up so we spent alot of time on the farm. I loved it and always wanted to live in the country. It took me awhile but I finally made it 160acres of wildlife paradise Heavan on earth!!!!!!!! not much of a house but I got a great yard!!!!!

And she is a beautiful Black/Lav split Orpington, the smartest sweetest one she has...

You are going to have to wait til this dam* snow melts for pics. Stella has fully regrown all her feathers and looks absolutely wonderful. Heather has taken after you and has quite the wide load herself, rivalling Hershey.

Hershey is the sweetest one I have, BTW, and not just in name. My "slow to mature" roo has the biggest keester I've ever seen on a lav, so I'm thinking of pairing him up at least with the blacks to see what I get. I'd love to get a wide load black roo for Hershey & the GLOs.

I have a mixed adult flock of reds, black sex links and white "Ameraucana". The littles are Araucana, Mille fleur, Ancona, BC Maran and couple Jaerhons they are my practice chicks I ordered 25 that are coming at the end of April! My husband is convinced I've lost my mind! :))

Ok people, I have to rehome this guy even though it's killing me. I absolutely love his coloring and temperament, but I just have too many roosters. If anyone wants him, not for dinner, please let me know. Otherwise he is going on CL. Ugh!!!!!! I hate this.
He was hatched Feb. 20, 2112. I have another lav roo that needs a home too. He was hatched Sept. 20, 2012.
