Went to the barn to check on things...and it appears the Cayuga's are layin' !! One big cold egg. I couldn't tell if it was frozen or not. Anyone ever attempt to incubate duck eggs?

Awesome!! So, how can I tell if it got frozen?, other then it obviously being solid, it was just very cold, brought it in and it's in a bowl on my kitchen counter. I'd like to gather a few before I set them.Yep, doing it right now, with Cayugas! I hatched 5 Welsh Harlequins last year. Just like chickens, except they go 28 days and can tolerate higher humidity.
http://ecode360.com/9775805Hi All! I'm new to this site and currently don't own any chickens. Hopefully one day we will. We live in the city of Hudson, WI (so the twin cities). I cannot find the city ordinance's where it says they are not allowed - though I know it's there. I'm hoping to find or start a group to get this changed. But in the mean time, does anyone have any tips on where I can find the code so I can specifically read about what it says??
Thanks so much!
Jen
Hurley nice eggs...i can tell you are still working and have all kinds of time. Wait til you someday retire, then plain deviled eggs will have to be worked into your full schedule...LOL!
Have fun...bigz
