Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Kristi... We hatched out a silkie baby. Since I just got ride of our silkies it's needs a home. You up for it? It looks like a blue right now. But it came from a blue partridge or partridge silkie, covered by a splash roo. It's very cuuuute....

BF...you talked me into it... we love our silkies and we have two tiny little polish that were smaller than the silkie we gave to a friend so sure!
You heading to madison anytime soon or where can we meet... I dont know your work schedule any more...thursday or friday might work best...depending on times and such...

Put it in the sink and let it get wet. If the hip is dislocated you will be able to see it really easily. If its dislocated I agree to cull it. BUT is the hips look good, I would put a little "shoe" on it. It could just be a slipped tendon. The fact that it is standing with one leg is good. The baby I had with the dislocated hip could not stand at all and the leg stuck out behind it. Dont loose hope yet.

TERRIO-what is this "sun" of which you speak???? Just came in from trying to chisel out the coop from some of the ice/snow before the next round hits so we can get a start on the re-work. Told hubby about the "suggestion" to just make the coop bigger instead of moving the greenhouse and he laughed (aka no way) and said he's already figured out how to do it. Snuck the 3 new babies by him this time so it's "one step at a time

poor, sweet hubby, he has no idea

JUDGE-can your duckie swim? If it can/can't paddle that leg would tell you if it's the foot or the hip like Terri suggests. If it is the foot, I would suggest using vet wrap. Make a little pad to hold the foot in shape thensecure with the rest of the wrap. Holds well, waterproof and easy to change/remove while cushioning the little foot. Just a thought from an amateur.
