Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Gross. I am a food snot. I am a wimp. I've had haggis though. Can't go to Scotland 3 times and not have it!! It was pretty good. I even tried it in my first trimester and liked it!

I will not be stopping for head cheese, tongue, pickled parts, or other unique foods. My tastes are much more refined. So much so I don't even eat vegetables... LOL :p

I was so tired last night I forgot that right before we left, the kiddos all grabbed flashlights and did a little crawler hunting. Picked a coolwhip container full in about half an hour....

Oldest DD hobbled off to school with her boot. She might even have it yet for our trip!

No tme for chit-chat this am, too many things to do!

Judge, you can bring the kids! They will have a blast!!!!

If anyone has the old fashioned dark peonies (they are almost a red color) I would take them off your hands.....

There is a house in Oshkosh that has a HUGE plant that blooms yellow! I would love to get that for my MIL.....

Today was just great, and absolute perfect day. I made a cherry pie and a peach pie to take to my in-laws. The DD's BF came over in the AM with his fresh turkey kill (and then promptly butchered it in the driveway

; I was waiting for the police to make a stop after that....), then the BF took the oldest DD and the two DS' out fishing for suckers! When they came back home, DH was home from work so we all piled into the van and headed off to the in-laws. The ducks were REALLY happy to see us and the get OUT! We filled up their small pool so they could splash around. The boys did some plinking with the BB guns, and after the kids were done doing their various little projects, they all headed out to the field to play some baseball. I made dinner for everyone while we were there, and BigZ you would have loved it. I brought over the turkey breast and cut it into cutlets, wrapped each one with some bacon and popped those babies on the grill. My DH was pretty certain that they were going to be super tough..... but surprise surprise they were fantastic! To go along with the turkey I had a barley/mushroom mix and my MIL cooked up some of her home grown green beans. I had also brought along some strawberries but the kids polished them off before dinner..... and of course we had the pies..... not a bit of cherry left either!

I have tons of errands to run tomorrow and the lid are getting heavy so time to call it a night.
What a nice story..lovely family day
