Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

So posting that picture made me realize how messy my kitchen is today. So I started doing a thorough cleaning. I just discovered a loaf of bread that had a best by date of Dec. 09, 2012. It was not a moldy mess, it was just hard. I actually looked at the date because we usually don't eat bread and I couldn't figure out when we would have bought it. yuck!

I have a sign that reads, "My house was clean yesterday, too bad you missed it" for a reason!

Good afternoon--taking a break while the kids are having a snack. THen back outside to work on more "water features!" This is SO FUN! I also found the origional pump for my contained fountain and cleaned it and it WORKS! Double bunus. The one I picked up yesterday at Menards is too weak for this one but works great for the rock one.
SHORT conversation then

sure you wouldn't prefer the LONG one that DESTROYS your chances at the position?

I gotta go fire my .22 now... I mean tell it that it is destroyed and it is not allowed to shoot any more.

Oh well, hes been busy building up my chicken obsession lately lol

Just reading yor posts always makes me want to get more done!

To, I got both my ponds set up... 2, or maybe 3 wks ago. Sadly, the pumps must be getting old :-( they are all scummy!! Looks like ill be redoing this sun. I tried treating them with some fish safe stuff, it didnt wor k, and 2 of my huge plecos died! :'( I told scott I was even thinking of getting rid of them and having only flowers. I never seem to find the right pumps. And now that the tree above them took such a beating in that ice storm, they are getting sun.

Judge - Yes, I knew most cabinets were fake stuff over particle board. Kinda stupid, yes, but real wood is really expensive!
- Ooo! Yeah, carful with that whole dog bite thing! YIPES!
- how did your Grandma's surgery go?
- Hey Sally! Nice head!

CelticChick - I agree. Jim does indeed rhyme with flock!
- I'm sorry to hear about Jasmine. Poor lil' darlin'!

Speaking of guns...I'm getting me a Rhino .357. 2" barrel. Not the 4 or 6. I can use the 38 specials in it vs 357's, they're cheaper! LOL! Might have to wait for my birthday this fall, as all our extra money is going to the chickens right now and getting "spare parts" to make the runs & coops with.

So....who all's willing to pitch in for a dunk tank? JustJohn needs a dunking! (John - close your eyes, you can't hear me!)

BBP - Dang it! I wanna know too if you're coming! I want to meet as many of you freakazoids as possible! Come one, come all!

M-Kay.
Now I get to bore you freaks with MY kitchen pics, just because I wanna.
In this pic, I'm near my front door turned slightly. If I stayed straight, (far left of pic) that'd be my formal dining room. The "pass through" has a nice cubby hole behind it where I keep mats for the dog food dishes and water bucket and my garbage can.On the rt of the pic, you'll see a door that's still in the kitchen, that's one of my food pantrys, and it's HUGE! The door to the far right is my bedroom door.

Here's that cubby hole area from the other side. Pretty roomy not to do something w/that space. That's why I put the dog dishes there as well as the garbage, so it's accessible, but yet still out of the way.

Standing at the cubby looking in. Far door is my laundry room, door on far right that's cut off is the food pantry. THere's another big shelving unit for pantry items in my laundry room.

Straight ahead, laundry room. Door to the right that you can see out the window (you're looking at my garage) is my den that's off my bedroom. I turned that into my metaphysical room.

Standing at the island, you can see my bedroom door, the gas fireplace, and front windows.

Back left corner of my property. Nice garden plot, eh?

Back rt corner.

Standing only part way back in my yard. You can't tell from the pic, but the back deck is massive! To the left of the left tree, you can barely make out our firepit. We have since lined it with beautiful, colorful, speckled, mini boulders.

Pic of our treeline on the left. Same side as garden.

My DD playing dead. (for size reference, she was 14 1/2 in this pic)

Sunrise to die for on the morning of my first birthday spent in this house!! (Nov. 15, 2011)

And here's a picture of me, in case y'all were wondering what I look like...
