Good morning! Must be rainy across the state! Kinda "sunny rainy" here though...it might get dry enough to get me beans and squash planted this afternoon. I bought bean seeds AGAIN! (this is the third time) The fist they got eaten by a mouse or something on the porch, the second bunch I had in a coffee can that I used for a tree for the bash and when I went to get them out of the shed they werent on the garden bench so I thought the chipmunk I have seen in there carried them off...so we go to DG yesterday to get some cheap ones (cause who knows if I will lose them again?) I go down to the garden to put them into the bucket I keep down there....go to put the matches in my garden mailbox..and there are the missing seeds from the coffee can! Sheesh....now I will have seeds for next year! I really need to get my shelves screwed to the wall and obtain some organization around here...especially in that garden shed!
Just opened the bean seeds from DG....OMG--6g is NOT a lot of seed! No wonder they are only .50! I know I got some of those Slenderette seeds at Menards that BIgz raves about...wonder what I did with them?
I am going to post that disgusting picture of "cage-free" chickens on my FB wall too. That is awful.I watched a secret documentary when some people went into one of those cage houses--almost made me sick! Yeah, a lot of folks think they are "just chickens" but when you see how happy (and different) they act when they have space to run and flap their wings it is incredible! Vickie and a few others will know first hand from adopting ex-battery hens. They dont really know what to do when they have space. We have two chicken egg facilities right here in my town. Crystal Farms and Brookside. They both have long chicken houses like that and I always wonder what they are like inside...I bet they dont give tours!
Good luck with the new/improved knee Frenchie. So was the one you showed us at the bash the loaner? Does yours look the same?
Have fun planting your garden Cind! It is so nice to be able to go out and pick some real food isnt it? I am always thinking that it is so much work...but I have to learn to think of it as an investment in health! It is nice now when all is well spaced and weedless...talk to me near the end of July! LOL!
Show up and talk some more Jelli--I think we need new pics of your boys! Speaking of boys...isnt Cartman turning into such a little man? I couldnt believe how tall he is! Remember how Ethan was at the first bash when Amy couldnt get out of his sight? I feared for her sanity when the next one would be born (she was pregnant that time too) and now she is doing it again! Wait until she finds out how it is when you no longer outnumber the kids! (but many of you know all about THAT!) After three you might just as well keep on going!
OK I better get moving. THe IB is almost working...have a great day! TerriO
