You both can
I will have Lydia with me and be there around 2:30 ish. I had a typo before DD3 not DS. My DS6 will be distraught that he did not come too but he has River Rats Day camp this week. They take em out and get em wet roll em in the mud and creatures and have you pick em up at 3pm to bathe and get stories of the days discoveries.
raising them right, covered in outside dirt.

I was going to post the same sight that was posted..poops sound normalHi All! whew.... I had checked in quick first thing this a.m. and just had to catch up on 10 pages!
Been busy here all weekend. Dad left for home this morning. got the call he made it home safe around 8:30, so 12 and 1/2 hrs isn't bad time. (yuck)
DH had his annual GMO (golf outing with his college buddies) Saturday and we host every year so I was busy cleaning/cooking. This year was much more mellow than last.... maybe age is catching up to them?! Our 'bar' used to be known for the 4am closing time, and it seems to get earlier every year! lol DH kept his limit low and actually didn't end up hungover! he managed that a couple weeks ago and cursed himself for a week.
Anyway, glad to hear most are doing well. BF4M - sounds like things got squared away. It was so helpful, Thanks for posting, I have my food and water inside my coop and will be changing that up quick! I was going to ask if it is normal for them to go back in the coop during the day for 'snacks and naps'? I thought they'd want to be outside all day? It's only been a week that I let them out on free range and we had lots of 'dog friends' visit, so that's likely a lot of why they are leary about venturing too far from the coop, but still? inside?
Another question, would the bloody stools be black or red?
There are a few droppings around that are like blackpudding.... and also twicec today I saw my 6wk Aussie squirt and it was really watery like?? Is there a forum page to get poop info?? (Not that ya'll can't/won't help, I just don't want to bother you with poopy talk if I should look elsewhere.
All my chicks appear healthy and happy, but when I hear some of you talk about sick chicks, I get worried.
Ugh! another late nite for me.... gotta quit this!
gnight all~
Quote: I can't sleep with them either.
Naps are good
I got them from WVStruttin. He does have Naragansetts, maybe the egg got marked wrong. 4 were marked RP, 4 marked BR. Doesn't matter a whole lot, they're all freezer bound in the fall. I'd just like to know.Amy...any chance that turkey is a Naragansett? That is how mine look when they hatch. Where did you get the eggs from? TO
