Hello everyone! Just dropped in for a second and then off to bed. FM-does your friend have any females they might be willing to part with? I have a lonely male and would like to get him a friend. Only looking for one or two and then in spring will incubate some eggs. Let me know, otherwise if she or he, knows where you can get a couple in wi. Thanks! Your eggs are really tiny! Those are from you buttons right? I would like a couple of buttons in the spring. They are so pretty.

DrHa I love you attitude. My DH father use to say (he has since passed and had MS) when someone would be all stressed and would ask "What am I going to do!?" His response was "S&^@ in your hand and laugh." That was just his way of looking at a bad situation. It could always be worse. He was a great man. Glad You and L can pick each other up.
Ok have to go. Is there a swap this weekend? Or is that next weekend?

Good Morning Everyone! Slept in our B'room last night, felt really good! Taz was real happy she even made me rub her belly. Got the one sump pump working but need some hose. Left the garden pump hooked up ,wasn't supposed to freeze last night but it did. Hope it's OK. Going to start pumping out the crawl space today. L was super happy about the indoor plumbing! City girl!

Good Aft. All! WCc hope all comes out well at the Dr. Sounds like a real pain, parden the pun. Hope you can get the issues resolved and feel better!

Been another good day here! Pulled the well cover and the casing was above the water level so no contamination. Will send in a sample just to be sure. And L is staying at work to finally getting signed up for health insurance!

Don't know how things could be better! OK that was stretchin it. So much done so much to do. Have a good eve all!

oh man! I would love some of them, but I dont want chicks over the winter.

we got 2 white leghorn hens spending some time away from everyone else. their combs have sores on them. their 21 weeks and I found out that their both laying

I got eggs from them today. oh and I got a question, what can I put on the combs? to clean them? and what about an ointment?

well off to finish home work

oh and did you EVER hear of a place of business that didn't have a bathroom? what gives? I left that place floating!

Evening to all you good folks....stressful chasing folks off the property today that think it's cool to shoot chimpmunks,(they had them on a stick like a fish) and ruin a quiet bowhunting environment that we stress here on the hill. They started at 11am and finally at 3pm when shots were in the sweet area, and for sure trespassing.....I'm not only ticked, but mad as hell! I wasen't pleasent for sure....prolly get the mail box smashed again....what about rules, what about trespassing, what about consideration for others. I know, i know....O Lord give the strength to not get stupid. Bowhunting is my passion.

Sorry for the rant, but you always have to tell the ones you love most....you know that right is right, and so do I....poor chippys, like they were worth killing...I love their antics....slobs, I told them so too! What the hell?

Well doc couldn't find anything...and admitted she couldn't decipher the CT scan real well.
So will be scheduled for an ultra sound, perhaps a pain block, or cortisone shot.
I am going to call about a second opinion. Something is torn i can feel it!

The chick seems to be doing a bit better...I finally got something to work to keep the legs together.

I made acorn squash, and fish for dinner...1st time doing squash... I am gonna get lots more now!!!

Hi all! Too bad the Doc didnt find something easy and not too painful to fix! I think I have lost pretty much all faith in Docs...well-except for Dr H of course!!!

Yeah...I am funny!
I need to put up a pic of the button eggs...they are SOOOO pretty! She is off her current nest and is starting to lay again. I am glad that sitting gave her a bit of a break...I think the finches may be back to laying too...more babies!

Speaking of babies....4 Mom dogs here and 20 pups...lost one after surgery today..but it had more problems so perhaps it is better? Still sad though to lose a pup!

Took one of the Moms out to the coop tonight to hunt mice...man she is FAST! I had her out on a long line today and she had a vole caught and dead before I even realized it. So I took her out for mice tonight---she didnt get any but maybe next time I will let her off the lead since she will know what to do. Cant believe the difference in her and my other JRT! All my dog wants to do is catch chickens and ducks and geese and guineas and....maybe I can trade?

So WELCOME to all the new folks...I sure hope you read and post often...we are having a mini get together in two weekends at Palmyra Horsemen's Camp...about 1 pm I think...do we need to plan anything more? Yes I am bringing that luscious cheesecake that was requested by some one that shall remain unnamed.... I sure hope everyone that can come does! Just a nice low-key mini meet in preparation for our SECOND ANNUAL BIGZIO BASH in spring....

Well--I guess I better get off to everything else I need to read tonight...been really busy with the pups etc...gotta get some hay tomorrow and I am helping my neighbor get her confidence back around horses...we are trying an actual ride tomorrow...wish me luck!

Good Morning Everyone! Thanks TO for having faith in me! It's very reassuring and I could use a little boost. Just hope I don't let you down. Sad about the pup! It sounds like it's pretty noisy with puppy's yipping at your place. Wish we could attend the Palmyra thing but no time. WCc I hate when the doc's don't find the problem. I've tried for years to get them to listen to me as to the root of the problem but no luck so far. They have you over a barrel and it seems that they like to use the insurance to pay for a new toy. Just hope they can get you better! Bigz I know how tresspassers can be. Sounds like kids were the culprets, just remember you were young and foolish too. But glad you made your point maybe it will be a lesson learned. We've been completely through the house once getting the chunks now it's a very serious cleaning end to end top to bottom. Makes this ol man tired! Been sleeping like the dead about 10 hours a night.

That has never happened before. Fema should be calling soon hope we can get some help from them. In my opinion this place should be bulldosed and built right. Back at it! Enjoy the trees and the weather I know I am.
