Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

I'm not sure what happened to my chocolate orpington. Her leg doesn't feel broken, nothing feels hot, I can't tell if she has a slipped tendon, it doesn't feel like her hip is out of socket. I just don't think there's anything else I can do for her. I even had her on a special diet for rickets and that didn't help.

Hi All!

Judge... sorry about your ducks.

BBP... Sorry about your hen.

TO.... I have 3 sons (living, one died in '78 as a baby) and 1 daughter. Yes, the one with the gal bladder issues is the youngest that is doing the Ren. Fair. He was suppose to leave in a few days. He's up in pre-sergery now so I'll be going there in a bit. If all goes well it shouldn’t change his plans. Messing up mine though because he's not going to get stuff done I wanted him to do before he left.

Well, BBL!

Hello All, had to work though lunch today so thought I'd take a bit of a break. It's been a busy couple of days, we got up at 3:30 Tuesday morning to crate up the meaties for Rod to take to Clinton. I was able to make it into work at a decent time, but crashed by mid afternoon. Yesterday I went along to pick them up and was surprised that this batch was much smaller than last fall. The two differences are; fermented feed for this batch, and they got out into pasture sooner that last fall's batch. Last year's only got about 2 and a half weeks in the pasture. Because they were a bit more confined (they did have a run) I think the fattened up more. Oh well, it's a learning experience.

Happy Birthday Jim and Cindy !!!

Welcome to the Cheeseheads Paganrose . . .

Well, BBL!
Good luck to your son - I had emergency gal bladder surgery several years ago. Those attacks are brutal.

CC only knows when to truly pick at me when my soft under belly is exposed. Weeks of stress with the kids and such has finally caught up. Anxiety attack hit at work Monday. Oh we'll, back to lurking...

Take care Heather, I can only image what pressure you put on yourself as the mom of 5 boys and one with special needs... My mom always said God never gives you more than you can handle, but as one who also has had her share of panic/anxiety attacks I beg to differ... We all just handle it differently...

Good evening all! Nice of you to join us Pagan! I really enjoyed the "tour" of your place! What town do you live in?
I am agreeing with you CC--those Black Aussies still look like pullets to me! I have to say Vicki--I have NEVER seen anything like what you pictured there! Perhaps I have too many birds in a space and they eat it up? I have no idea. Mine just seem to poop brown...
I did some work at a friend's place today...she had an ad on FB for help. We cleaned out her shed and organized stuff. I wish I had her buildings! She actually has an OFFICE! She keeps track of eggs--who laid what. OMG--I dont think I could do that!

DH came home at 5:30 or so...I was vacuuming--he said "It looks like you havent made dinner?" DUH--you said you would be home LATE. He is always on his phone...wonder why he didnt call ME?!!! [IDIOT]

I guess I am going to head up to bed...need to get the new sheets on.
Nighties...TerriO

My DD12 is sicko!

DH had it first, then DD11 and now DD12. It hit DH and DD12 really hard. She is sleeping next to me on the couch and I'm leaving her there as she had told me earlier that she hasn't been sleeping well because she can't breathe. I figure that since she managed to fall asleep, I'd leave her.

So Jim is not coming on, Zeke hasn't returned........hmm?
Happy Birthday to all September birthday people, I think that covers it

So, I'm looking into getting a new vehicle. Any suggestions? I'm looking for the seating of a minivan (at least 7), strength/power of a truck, sleek look, not a van. I have come across the Dodge Durango. It has power, seating, looks okay, and it's not a van. Ideas??? If you know of a vehicle, shout it out (just not in caps).
