I mean it. How old was he? Any ideas about the monster that attacked him?
If you're in a hurry, super glue will work in a pinch. I just make sure I always have a fresh tube of liquid stitch on hand tho. I have to with a clutzy pup, a nosy kitty and a "mister fix-it" hubby before we even get to trouble chooks can get into. We also are miles from any kind of an ER. A few years ago we had my daughter and family up for thanksgiving. While washing dishes I had a glass bowl explode in my hands. Laid my hand wide open. Grabbed the liquid stitch, then a rubber glove and went right back to work. Holiday saved and no hours wasted traveling back and forth to an ER. With animals, no expensive vet bills. even more important to me, I believe it's a lot less traumatic to the animal than traditional stitching, people too!!!
