Hope everyone had a good holiday! I did. L had to work so I made a double batch of chicken noodle soup to replentish the freezer. I think I messed up by not cleaning out the driveway, didn't think we were going to get that much rain. Of course I'm blaming fordmommy for not doing the dance properly. Now the drive is rutted with frozen water. Will try blowing it out today but think it's going to be a real bear.

Todays list is a long one so I better get started, coffee is kickin in. Enjoy your day!

The crap she pulled this Christmas was amazing and completely unforgiveable.... until she can come to her senses and realize her family is her rock of support, not a bunch of lepers.....

babylady4....hopefully some time will heal your feelings...the big hug, and I love you, will allow you to feel better in many ways. I hope you can save your relationship with your sister....life is short.

Dr HaHa... you would just love my frozen driveway. The very bottom has a huge frozen wave that one has to jump across going and coming. The county didn't plow the last two snowfalls, then with the rain they finally plowed just before the cold.
Being gone at the time for the holidays. I didn't have a chance to get it cleaned up.

I will prolly have to take an ice chisel, and chop some of the wave away.

[Buck Creek Chickens]

Hope everyone had a great Christmas, the only 'off' thing for me was my hard drive crashed on Christmas eve morning, when the kids wanted to watch Santa on NORAD, the guy from dell was here today and put in a new drive, I'm glad I have the warranty.

Bigzio: I can visualize a ski jump into traffic. My neighbor Donny called Sunday and asked about my drive. I told him I was waiting for spring and that the blower wouldn't touch it. He came over with his big tractor and bucket and scraped it down smooth. Man what a relief. I had been over to his house the day before and I swapped them my home made chicken noodle soup for a loaf of pumpkin bread. I tried to pay him for plowing but that wasn't going to happen. Good friends! babylady4: I know it hurts because I have a step brother that I no longer keep in touch with. He's not good people. I left the ball in his court after trying for years. Bigzio's right life is short if you can't fix it then move on. She's the only one that fix herself. Some never see the error of their ways. Still getting 10/10 what good girls!

 

[Buck Creek Chickens]

During the blizzard on Dec 8 and Dec 9th 2009 - since the University of Wisconsin decided to close campus for the 9th, the night of the 8th became a night that everyone decided to go out and get drunk and play in the snow. This is what the students decided to create with the snow... A giant snowball, about 10 feet in diameter, and they left it in the middle of University Avenue . The police came and made sure no cars hit it.
