Anyone have a favorite incubator? I am itching to hatch some eggs soon and am looking at the Hova-bator 1588.

Oh I think that itch is contagious because im also feeling a hatch coming soon lol well I hatched some quails in a circated air incubator model 4200 and got a wonderful hatch rate, but I had an automatic turner. I got that at farm and fleet for $100 and egg turner off ebay for $30. And I must say im very happy with it

That sounds like it would be fun Im located southeast of stoughton close to the rock county boarder line.

My2boysteacher... I recently got the circulated air incubator 4200 model as well and hatched my 12 quails I have now, it was a 50% hatch rate, but it was my first hatch. I would recommend this incubator also.

My favorite incubator..I have had many different types through the years, but love the 1588.
I just plug in, calibrate and forget it..nice reliable piece of equipment.
I get over 90% hatch rate and many times 100%.
