Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

The processor in Clinton is Twin Cities Pack http://www.twincitiespack.com/ We've used them the last couple of years, and have been pleased with the results. Which is a good thing since I've yet to find someone closer and don't really want to butcher 150 birds, even if I had one of Jim's feather plucker . . . ain't gonna happen.

Hey Kristi, fingers crossed for more hatches

CS......I've had child slave labor before and would love to have more! With Jon gone I really, really need the help! And if they get done too soon (LOL) we have a yard to clean and wood to stack! We live in Burlington, so shouldn't be too far.

CC... Nice looking cat. One of ours is a big girl with that extra skin flap hanging.

BBL!

Ok me again...still only one out, but I hear peeping from another.... Maybe they are late bloomers.
So chick is drying but gunky...sticky and it's eyes don't seem wide open because they are sticky...advise? Warm wet paper towel?

Thanks gang.

you can give it a gentle bath,, no soap.. make sure there is no other pip before you take him out of the bator..

If there is a pip, just starting, like the shell is pushed up but not broken open, you should be safe to take the hatchling out ..

don't be afraid to get him wet,, just make sure you keep it warm..

Ok...gave her a little bath...drying again in heat lamp...no other pips...is she better to spend the night in brooder alone or in incubator?
