Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

I just want people to know I am going to Jim to pick up the female puppy on the 15th of March. If you want chicks or eggs please let me know and I will bring them up. We can schedule pick up times and the road I am taking when it gets closer. Joe is not home and might be gone till just before so I can't give details yet. Jim lives in Wausau so anyone close or on the way..please let me know. I have Blue laced Red in the incubator and a few Orpingtons. I also have a few English BBS Orpingtons already hatched and Blue laced Red Wyandottes hatched. I am keeping a blue orp and the other blue orp is going to Cuties. I might have one more blue and the rest are black.

I am making a trip to TO's on the 8th for anyone close that way.

Hi everyone. Some of you know that we are remodeling out kitchen. Since there are so many of you with different talents maybe someone can help me out. I realize this is not chicken related.

When my custom cabinets were installed we realized that the inside of the doors were not stained the same color as the outside of the doors. There were also dozens of pinholes in the doors. After a week the owner of the company came to our home. He said that they do not stain the other side of the door the same because they focus on the front. The pinholes come from their manufacturing process where the doors rode thru the factory on nail beds. He says there is nothing he can do about it. I feel like since I am paying for custom cabinets they should be free of holes and the doors should ask be stained the same. The doors also do not match the frames. They are taking the cabinets back to the company and restaining them so they all match. But what should I do if there are still dozens of nail holes? Should I refuse? Btw this was never mentioned to me when I was purchasing them. Thanks guys I really appreciate your advice!

If I was getting custom made cabinets I would demand perfection, but then again I am picky like that. He would hate me. Not only would I refuse half-assed cabinets, but I would report him. Be sure to report him to the BBB. Is he a member of any cabinet maker groups? I would report him to those too. What about the local Chamber of Commerce?

Hey Kristi, Morgan has to be stoked about her science project. Even if the hatch wasn't what you'd hoped for, I would think this is pretty major for a seven year old.  When is the project due?

So last night's weather forecast said possible 40's late next week . . . I was hopeful spring is on it's way  :weee
I see this morning the forecast is back to 30's and snow :th   I just want to get rid of this ICE!!
Jim that "pen-o-pups" is cool, I like the one working the lock.

Sandy...missed this yesterday. Yes both kids are doing science fair this year for first grade. I struggle with the level of their work and being ok that the are first graders. Some things ask for reports being typed up... They are first grade...that is kinda crazy to me. But she loves these three chicks and the report is pretty good. She is enjoying the process. Andrew is doing his on gravity. This is all being turned in and big science fair on thrusday. It is k-12. So should be some neat ones there.

Deli-I don't know why I can't upload photos from my phone, but here is the picture that I meant to attach to my earlier post. Notice the maran egg on top.

Home from the Regionals D.I. competition, my oldest and her team got 3rd place and my youngest daughter got 2nd place. This means that they advance on to state level competition.

I was hoping I could get them into the vet before this would happen, so another phone call on Monday to have the two kitten spayed. It will not be soon enough as far as I am concerned, the meowing all night is going to get really old..... and the constant trilling.

I've had enough. Night all!
