Yep TO, I keep up on the posts but usually only post before bed. I use my last post as a "book mark" . I was pretty tired by the time I posted.

Hello everyone!

Today was our 1st day back to the horse barn. DD13 & I had a great time shoveling poo and then we had to rush to her soccer game (which they won). It seems that there are a lot of kids going to state. My 2 girls in D.I., my niece for gymnastics, and bl4's for wind ensemble. I am glad our girls advanced,but I was hoping for a break. With them advancing, it will make April really hectic with them having DI practice and being on 2 different soccer teams.

Work is still chaotic. Why is it that the higher level of education that someone has, the more likely they are to have a complex of superiority? That is really the biggest obstacle I am finding. Some of the profs think that they need to be consulted prior to anything changing. Oh well, griping about it isn't going to change them!

Happy hatches to everyone! I hope that the warmth of your incubators brings about the warmth of Spring! It is long awaited and desperately wanted. Anyone starting seeds yet? I'm thinking that it is still too early. We are looking into getting our supplies for maple syrup making though.

TO- how are you recovering? Are you unbruised yet?

The hatches are going well..
The incubator is staying full
My silkie is sitting on 5 eggs..this is her first time trying to hatch. Brrr
I heard we are to have some 50 degree days soon..I look forward to those days..
Joe is good about the pup after i did the math in all the hawk loss last year. He thinks since it has not happened before it is a one time thing. He forgets it kept coming back every day.

good afternoon, Yep, I am still OK.. and getting better.. and soon I can get my wound wet, which means a real shower.. washing at the sink is OK, but rinsing all the soap off is impossible..

My Bro and his #2 son came to visit with me all afternoon. we had a lot of laughs..
this is the nephew who is a contractor..
He suspected that the custom cabinets were ordered by the "cabinet maker" from two different sources.. one source built the frames.. and the other built the doors.. None of them actually custom built, but factory made.. thus the mismatched colors of doors to the frames..

He thinks that the "cabinet maker" just orders cabinets, doors and drawers and pieces them together..

he has come across this scenario before..

Judge, if you can prove this, you have a good case to get all your money back..
IMHO..

time for a dose of my friend, Tylenol Extra, and then some food to keep my stomach settled..

CS, I have only come across one prof who was a stuck-up know-it-all; thankfully he has left. Chin up, they may need the supplies but this is YOUR department. You run your department how you see fit, you do not tell them how to run their classes.

I could really use a hot tub today....... Ouch.

Made homemade chicken and dumplings for the DH tonight. Poor guy is fighting off a cold. So tonight we are watching Indiana Jones.

Good evening...I am glad the hatching is going well also. No hatching going here except for that little broody...she had to start over though...she went onto the "light bulb nest" by mistake and her eggs (about day 10) all froze. I smashed them and fertility is running 100% according to those eggs.
Somebody said something about Orpingtons not being fertile this year? (they heard at TSC) I cant believe that ONE breed of chickens is having a problem...more like they didnt order any Orpingtons so dont look for them there! I dont know if you can even believe those places and the breeds they say they have.

I think I am going to watch an episode of "Old Christine." My client gave me the DVDs of the second season today.

yep, I got a defib put in last Monday . IDK the make or company who made it.. I suppose , like cell phones, it will be obsolete in about a week or so.. I am stuck with it for at least the next 5 years..
I hope to have it replaced then..

I still have some soreness, but it is not the extreme pain I had for the first couple of days.. I am cutting way back on the Tylenol..

I am not getting notifications when somebody posts..anybody else having this problem ?
