Goat baby finally pood and peed!!!
I was a bot worried this afternoon. He was very bad. But he is finally eating a little more vigorous!
I am going to bed. I get up for 12 hours at 1:30.
Idk if I will sleep!
Nite all
TO, my cousin was going to take her dog back to the shelter. She was being a huge nuisance in my cousin's neighborhood barking ALL the time (even inside the house loud enough to be heard outdoors) and barking and charging the neighbors when she was outside (to the point where the neighbors were afraid to be outside in their own yard). She is super sweet and just needs some social skills and to learn that she does not need to be on high alert all the time. She also needs to work on her obedience, but I'll have her whipped back into shape in no time.
good morning, I defragged my system last night,, It seems to be much faster now..
Cind, IDK how many birds Annie has, but I am sure it is more than 20 maybe closer to 30.
talk about "chicken" math.. LOL it is noisy out in the sun porch, but I keep the doors closed .. I can hear them, but it is more like background music..
two of them can sing the Andy Griffith theme song .. I have not gone out there to listen yet..
the new ones look and act very healthy.. long story short, the people just ran out of room for this many birds.. he still has homing pigeons and a parrot and a cockatoo ...
yesterday one of the Seb geese went missing.. I checked again at lockdown, no goose.. maybe it is hiding on a nest somewhere ? I hope ..
I hope we don't go into a cool down after these next few days of warmth .. I remember one year when it was 80 F in April.. that year it began to warm up and we went right into summer like that..
wow it looks like I might eventually see some ground in a few high spots later today. I see a bit of water on top of the two feet of ice too. It might be spring soon..
I am shipping chicks today..finally some half way decent weather to ship over night.
good afternoon,, good news/bad news..
good news, there isn't any bad news..
I had a brainstorm at breakfast today.. what if the lost goose went too close to the steep snowbank in front of the garage door and slipped into the garage ?? when I got home, I went into the garage and there it was.. hungry and thirsty, I'm sure , but otherwise none the worse for wear..
Lifted it a bit and it scrambled out of the door..
I hooked onto the Blazer and pulled up loose from it's icy trap.. put the charger on the battery and in 15 minutes it was running.. I still left the charger on it,, when I am done here, I will go take it for a ride.. I hope the tranny was just frozen up with ice.. I sure don't want to go shopping for another 4WD .. I like my old Blazer.. rust and all.. I don't have to worry about scratching or denting it like I would if I had a newer one..
enjoy the warm weather,, back into the deep freeze on Thursday..
My neighbor has this Meremmma intact male, one year old in May. He's purebred w no papers. She paid $150 for him but is only asking for a small donation if any. She is mainly wanting him to go to a good home. Reason for rehoming is he chases their sheep non-stop. Im only relaying this as I know a few of you on here have this breed. Contact me if you are interested and I'll get you on touch with the owners.
Awful Nice Day Here...hope yours was a special nice break in the weather like it was here.
The sunshine sure has the boys in the mood, and the ladies seem to like the sun and are laying with a ton of vocal right!.....won't be long here now to get the breeders in the right spot. I prefer the spring vigor of the males to keep more of the clears at bay....patience works well here....even though I understand the early start for slow growing breeds....I have nothing but time...so different for me for sure. Just kinda my way....and that's the only way for me...LOL! I have nice birds ....
IMO
No more below 0 I'm hoping....what a Winter we had.
