Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Haha I thk k I will figure out how to hook him to the wheel barrow. And have the kids walk him around and scoop all the poo in it ;)
We just got him in the fall. He is too young to pull anything yet. We just practice :D
I had a pic somewhere of the gorgeous harness we got him that is way too big :/
I have Lmiller to thank for his awesome saddle that is too big lol and just last weekend at the chicken swap we got a couple bridals and a girth that are too big! Lol
Hopefully he grows some! He will be 1 this month.

Awe he is a cutie! I had an Icelandic pony that I rode for years! She was a speed Demond! She was quick at that barrels and was just so sweet! Thank you for your regards on my mare. She was a rescue. I got her from a girl in Merrill. Here is the long story ill try to make short! The girl contacted me asking if I'd like to buy her mare and I asked if she would trade and she agreed. So she brought bailey (named my duck after her) to my farm and she could barley walk out of the trailer so me and my fiancé talked it over and agreed we needed to take her in. The girl lied to us about EVERYTHING! When she aloud me to discuss things about Bailey with her vet I found out before I bought Bailey the vet told her the horse was in horrible pain and would shortly need to be out down. When the vet asked the girl how long Bailey was limping she just laughted and said "9 months". Anyway I took Bailey in and have her the best last month of her life. I spent day after day loving on her and one day I walked to the pasture and she was unable to get up....I walk out to the pasture and encouraged her to stand and she couldn't so we had to make the decision to put her down...she fell asleep in my arms...the worst thing about this is that her life could have been saved because it could have been pervented...rip Baileys Whisper...

, just had the chance to sit down and catch up on reading. Both DS's had soccer practice tonight.

We currently have 2 Welsummer hens- haven't had the time to track down hatching eggs. We stay away from adding adult birds into our flock- to many issues/potential problems IMO.

Busy here again with 2 rental units to get ready- one needs to be finished by Monday(my goal is to be done Friday) and the other one hopefully ready for showing by May 1st(this unit was left in gross condition

) had to scrub trim work before even starting to paint, had to paint ceilings and working on painting all walls- even the closets, plus put in new carpet, all new interior doors and appliances. It's starting to look better and we are close to being able to show it-without people running the other way!

Welcome to the new peeps who have joined us

It most definatly was, but I knew Bailey needed someone to help her in such a hard time. When I grow up I am going to run a horse rescue!

What a cutie! I'm guessing he is part POA? Is he a gelding or a stud colt?

The gal we got him from said he is a mini. But when people who onow horses come, they say he must have pony in him. So who knows! We love him either way :) he is not yet gelded. They ahem don't seem to be there yet. I will soon be calling a vet out to check things over. And maybe he needs shots? Lol I am a novice with him!
Zeek, do you think they are pure yet? I haven't collected any to incubate yet. But will start soon. But they are laying well. Took them a bit to settle in. I let them out in the outdoor pen the other day. Those girls were crossing their legs during the race back to the nest box! I guess the one in the outdoor pen was not good enough ;) enjoying the weather?
