What bator prices are you all paying??
My local reptile store has some, but I am not sure of prices.. Do the bators you all are looking at OR have, rotate, or do you have to do it...
Just wondering.
I think I want to hatch out my silkie/frizzle polish bantam cross eggs...

Hey all,

Fighting an anger problem lately, a wonderful twist on this pregnancy. It's mainly focused on the in-laws. I feel so bad for them, but I can't help but be so danged mean! Luckily the leave for a month to visit other fam, so maybe this part of the preggo will breeze over when they leave. Hubby is handling it well, jeez hes an angel. I'm being such a you know what!!!

You guys are so chatty chatty!

Yes, he was hoping the whole goat phase would wear off and I would sell them. It's just not going to happen. And I will admit I have a soft spot for call ducks and I will just have to keep some of the ducklings. I promised that I wouldn't get any more indoor pets. I really want a donkey, he'd just die if he came home and saw one of those out with the goats. It's the same deal, I take care of them. He did build the coop, but besides that he isn't expected to do anything. He hates being inconvenienced by the fact that we have to be home at dark to lock them up. And if we want to go on vacation it's hard finding someone to take care of everything. He would prefer to have no animals at all. But the chickens provide eggs, and soon we'll have some for the freezer. I will NEVER buy eggs from the store again. It's gotten to the point that I don't want to buy meat either. I would milk my goat too if I could find a buck to breed her. It's just frustrating listening to all the compaints out of him. And now everyone on here has to read my complaints . . . sorry.

I found my incubator on CL. Got two for 30 bucks! One was brand new and the other was slightly used. Both are Hovo bators and are still air, but for that price I couldn't pass it up. BBP- I completely understand. My DH is similar, but I have four girls to back me up when I want something. As far as finding someone to pet sit, I have it set up with a friend that lives about 10 mins from me that I'll watch hers if she watches mine. This works well for both of us. Maybe you could find someone to do that with? Hopefully he will come to understand how important your animals are to you and learn to appreciate them too. Raiquee- I was the same way with both my girls. But then again my X in-laws were horrible people. Good luck!

I bought my little giant incubator at farm and fleet for like 45.00 with tax. I did purchase the optional egg turner which oddly enough was slightly more than the incubator itself.

But I am using it to hatch out now and it is doing really great even though byc fans have both good and bad experiences with them.

Mine is good so far.

Well I invited my sister and her husband and the 2 boys up for dinner a week ago, because they said today would work great. And last night asked mom and dad if they wanted to come too. So I was planning on 8 total for dinner (even tho my newborn nephew wont eat anything). Now my brother in-law got called to work. Dad doesnt feel like driving the hour and a half up, even though my mom is coming. And now my husband got called to work and may not be home!!!!

I pulled out 2 beef roasts which are both in the oven, and am making augratins, green beans and crescent rolls. Only to have me, my sister, and mom. My 2 year old nephew might eat a little, but the newborn isnt going to be eating roast.
I hope they are hungry!

I'm so bummed all 3 guys arent gonna be here....... I love cooking for everyone and now only half of us are gonna be at the table.

I'd be glad to help you out! I bought a little giant bator at fleet with the turner it works very well. Didn't like spending the amount but it was a rush deal huh fm? I feel for ya Raiquee I have an ex wife that was like that except she wasn't prego.

She now lives alone! Hang in their girl! BBP when you said no more indoor pets and then read to donkey and thought no wonder your DH gets upset. Then read on. Hope he comes around! Like I've said before it gets harder and harder to eat store bought. Our rare fast food stops are now narrowed to Arby's and Subway. Everything including the chicken sandwiches and even KFC makes us both sick for up to 3 days. Think maybe after eating good meats and vegies for so long that our bodys can't handle the crap that's in that stuff. I used to love a qtr lb with cheese from Mac and Don's steak house, if I eat one now I better be within a half an hour from a bathroom. Goes right through. Sorry! Bigz I'll do anything for anyone if it helps them. And so would you so shut up! The people that originally owned this stuff raised chickens, quail, and pheasants. I have some strange looking feeders and hanging lights with florecent circular tubes in them and there's a bunch that are still over there. The stuff I'm offering otonoh are the standard feeders and waterers. Some of the others have me baffled maybe some on here knows what their for or might be interested in them. Maybe should take and post some pics to see if anyone wants them. I don't want them but the guy I got them from kept throwing them in the trailer. Dang it Mag now Iwant roast beast!

I located near Manitowoc WI. I am also willing to meet people if it isn't too far or if I am going somewhere anyway. I go to Green Bay, Appleton, Sheboygan, and Kenosha pretty often.
