BigZ, do you have a link to the camp? I cannot seem to find it online, the only campground I find close to Clintonville is Imago Dei, and they seem to have AMAZING facilities (I went there when I was a kid; but has it changed!!!).
These are all kids campgrounds with trails etc... the one in Nelsonville has a horse camping weekend so that might work for us. There is a class A trout stream right up the road from the camp that you could walk or bike to.
Dang TO glad someone is thinking. Depending on the their set up cd's workplace might fit the bill. Just told Laura that the BFF has a new pop up camper we could use. Whether he likes it or not. That would suit our needs perfectly! I was workin on the tax/flood stuff but found that my thoughts kept wandering back to the Bash. See what you people have done to me. You've taken a perfectly abnormal person and made them worse. Abby something. Oh ya Abby Normal! [YF reference] Becky you don't have to put us on the map we'll be there! This is going to be so much fun! Hehehehe!
TO that hug simply won't do looking forward to the real thing as always. You people are sooo cool!
Morning all. I'll post the link to the church website...then on the left side table of contents scroll all the way to the bottom and click on christus memorial camp. Once you are on the camp page you can click on the different headers. I know we rent the lodge to a trail ride group that uses it for a rest and lunch place. I'm thinking as long as we clean up after the horses in the immediate area (simply tossing in the woods) it's not a problem. I'm waiting for a call from the guy in charge, he wasen't home when i called. http://www.christusclintonville.org/
Sure hope the Pack can pull off a tough win today. Talk Later... ~ bigzio
That place looks fabulous BigZ!!! (and really cheap too) I am moving to accept this location and whatever date you can get us in June...was it the 26th? The highways can get people there pretty easily and quickly.....do I have a second? Any discussion? TErri O
Looks like a 3 hour trip from here. Hope to be able to come as a day trip, but I won't make the boys make that trip to turn around and head back after a couple hours. Won't know til the date gets closer (on call on some weekends), but hope to be able to buzz up and say hi.
I had my call returned. Check in Friday anytime after noon. If anyone is interested in staying Sunday it's additional $30. Could rent friday sat and sun for $80. Horses are ok if we pick up the apples like I said and stay off the immediate lawn area due to the base being only sand. Plenty of other areas to tieup in the shade and parking area that is grass. The date for friday and sat is june 24 & 25.
This place says it's pet friendly LOL! http://www.summerbreezedells.com/
Too bad I don't live in a more central location. We have 25 acres of wooded land on the river. There's a big clearing on the south end of our property in the woods near the water that would be great for camping (unless the mosquitos are as bad as last year).
