Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

For starters, my B-day is next week and I'll be 34.

And I don't look like that any more either BL4. I chopped my hair back before Thanksgiving and went back to my natural blonde.

And I know you guys are looking at a place for a party again. I don't care where much myself being that I AM in the center of the state. But I have mentioned the Wild West Campground before. That could be a place. Here's a link. http://www.wildwestcampground.com/ It was GREAT!

And the option of Hartman Creek State Park is open again. That was $40.00 for the shelter. You all decide. Makes no difference to me.

Otherwise, all is well.

DH comes home with the check from the snow plowing place, and it's suppossed to be aboooout...$1300. It's for $450. They say they only have him for 30 hours. Now we have to find a way to prove he was there, because the boss is not on the scene. Plus the form the guys fill out to get paid doesn't have a carbon copy or anything, its just a sheet and they hand it to the company. He kept some records, but now he can't find them. (I think hes just ticked and not truely looking, cause he did have copies of his mileage, gas, etc.)

PLUS. The told him when they hired him he was a subcontractor. So why did they take out for Fed, SS and State?!?! Because I think that messes up our unemployment! At least the way we've been filing that is. SO. I don't know what to do. Hes gotta go out tonight and he said hes going to write everything down carefully and keep copies. I'm not against them taking out taxes, but then they needed to TELL us that because we are on unemployment!

Maybe I was wrong. Maybe 2011 isn't going to be a good year.

The best reason for having the bash at the Camp is that it's worth the drive. Nice clean bathrooms and showers that aren't public, and the only folks there will be cheeseheads and family and friends.
Things could be planned like something friday eve....maybe a fish fry?
Jim also likes the idea of Camp. He said he could make one day for sure.

Suzie made a whole java cockeral from the freezer for soup yesterday....truly delicious. Home grown heritage birds make the best soup or roasters.

We were suppose to get two fresh inches of snow today, however we have 3 and it's still coming down. It can stop anytime now.

Stay Safe ... ~ bigzio

I sold 2 of my black orpington roosters today! I ordered a batch of chicks from Sandhill this fall and I had 5 extra black orps and a birchen dorking rooster. It's so nice to know they are going for breeding and not butcher. Those 2 were good looking birds.

It can stop anytime now.

Man Do I Second that. C'mon Spring!!!! Anyhow as far as the Camp, Our family is game for anything just about anywhere, depending on the Farmers Market Schedule, and meat bird rotations. If we are able we will be there.

Hens are laying finally, and by my calendar a week or two early. Man I love chickens. And the eggs are terrific!!!

Well a new record today. 4 eggs in the coop. So I'm assuming 4 of my 7 girls are laying now!

Hubby came in to tell me this morning while I was still laying in bed.

I started getting a headache last night, by this morning I woke up with the flu!!!!!!

Headache, fever, chills, sweats, nausea, you name it. I went through 3 icepacks for my head. I got up around 1 and ate a cup of fruit and some crackers. Went back to bed and got up at 4. Made myself eat a dry bagel.......

I know I'm sick, since its 6:30 and this is the first time I have turned on my computer! Usually I'm on BYC for a couple hours by now!

Hubby went up to our friends place for the afternoon, so the house was nice and quiet. Just me the kitties and the dog. Curled up on the couch now watching Deadliest Catch season 3. I might see if I can stomach a sandwich for dinner. Soup just doesnt sound good.

Let's see..... 25...... I delivered #3 and was still a stay at home mom. We bought our house that year. I did not go back to school until 2003 and I was 29! Finished my BS (be quiet Dr. H) at the ripe old age of 33. Thankfully I had done some schooling before the oldest DD was born and during my pregnancy with oldest DS. Raiquee, I do not know how you are going to manage with 2 kids so young, there was no way I could possibly get the grades and be a mommy to a newborn and a 2 yr old. Therefore I took a 10 year break. It was exactly what I needed to do too. Of course what works for one person does not work for another and I wish you the best of luck!

Glad I did not have to drive in to Oshkosh today! The roads were coated with Teflon this morning........

Everyone stay warm and enjoy the evening!

Getting ready to head for home, man I can't wait until the days are long enough for me to see daylight again on workdays! Get home in time to put my boys to bed.

Pretty snow, but going to be slow driving home.

Love the bash pic, nice to see you guys.
