Hey BigZiooooo! :) No just busy and chat with some BYC folks on FB mostly (To be honest I am so confused with who is who between BYC names, FB names, and FB farm names though!) Trying to get my Salmon Faverolles set up for breeding soon, back from vaca in Vegas, and works been a lil insane.
Long day for me, STILL no nap and not going to get one today either..... but it was so nice to see Cuties, Jim and Irish this morning!!!!

All I want to do is sit down and relax with a glass of wine (probably not the best for this cough but right now I do not care), but of course I volunteered to head down to the theater where Prom is held tonight to take pics. Apparently the kids have decorated the place to look like the Prom held in the original movie of Footloose. Then there is the issue of the roo hiding out in my garage. He needs to be transported to his new digs tonight once it gets dark. Cuties, I decided to just treat all the birds for mites since it has never been done and they probably all have some.

No Sebbies at this swap, I do not think I have ever seen any sebbies except pictures. There was one Call Drake that sold within a minute of the guy getting it out of his truck.

Hi Angie!

Maybe tomorrow I will be able to sleep in............

I have also been reading up on sebs and hope to add those some day when I have more time!

Hi All!

Hope everyone got something done today (Sat.) I scavenged all the wood that I thought would fit in the stove, splitter is still down and the nights still get cold.

Not much else to say.... Angib... glad you stopped in!

Night All!

Yeah and I don't even want to drive 4.5 hours when I'm going to stay 4 days. Not sure I will be making the horse fair. Had to put $800 into truck so it is safe to drive.... now no money left for my mini trip. ...... Plus having computer issues... Stressing on getting the taxes done.
Oh the stress of it all not to mention I have chicks due to hatch this coming weekend when I'd be gone to the horse fair. ET doesn't hear a word I say about anything....... arrrghhhhh.

Cant find half my tax papers...... thought I had them all in a pile..... well they are but not where I put the pile !!!! SMH here !!!!

Jim I thought you were napping in that picture !!!! LOL

Took a nice scenic drive around Aniwa yesterday. Stupid Smart phones GPS told me I had arrived when in fact I passed the place 1/2 down the road. So took off in other direction only to go on a 5 mile drive... Have to say I would have liked to have moved there on flat farm land vs on my hill !!! This Duck and Goose $hit is so slippery and on hill !!! LOL

Anyway, I met a very nice gal and bought a black orpington and a lavender orpington. Not related. so the black is not split to Lavender. They were hatched on March 15th. No sign of being roos !!! >>>> Yet ! LOL
So if all goes well and the Lavender is a hen I'll have some Lavender orps to breed in the future.

Looks like another trip to Wally World for TurboTax. Having problems with downloading and I certainly am not going to pay for something online to not get it.

Bought some meat thermometers at Triggs grocery store. $6 each. nice long prob that sticks down the small air holes in baters. So far they are spot on.... AND they are able to be recalibrated. I left Brinsea a nice message. Told them I would like a postage paid label and I will return the three spot checks they sent me. The first two don't jive and they are not able to be recalibrated. They sent me a third.... didn't secure it in the small flat rate box like they did the first two. Pulled out the tab for the battery and the thing won't turn on. Kept pressing the button and it attemps to turn on but doesn't. I"m not about to mess with it and switch batteries. For $20 a pop I shouldn't have to !

good evening,

FT, if those are the eg thermometers , they have a low to high range,, they will not turn on if the temp is too low..

I had a nice day,, I worked in the shop for a few hours.. I tore my 4" jointer all apart, cleaned it all up and lubed it up.. then I reassembled it and adjusted both tables to be parallel with each other..
then I super slicked the tables ..

I have one broken adjustment hand knob.. so I am designing one that I can make.. a new one costs $30.oo !!! no wonder I see so many ho-made handles on pieces of power tools ..

I felt so good after a successful day's work that I did the dishes ....

........jiminwisc......

Yeah the thermometers only start reading at a certain point but it still displays "L" until it reaches the temperatures in it's range.

DH had the tractor at a friends land on Sat and tilled up most of his 5 acres of fields. When he unloaded the tractor at home on Sunday we used the backblade to level the garden somewhat. The large chunks of sod are pushed into a pile and will be turned a couple of times a week - hoping to have the roots die and compost before planting season so I can spread that dirt back on the garden area... The rain last night will help with that. I need to get the water turned on for the outside faucet so I can keep it moist.

Today, I will be cleaning out the guinea coop and adding the bedding to my leaf pile. I have a lot of old hay to add to that pile also. Branches will be chipped into a separate pile and aged some for use as mulch around the garden sets. When I plant my onion sets, I put wood chip mulch over the row so I know where they are planted and don't rototill them up when weeding.

I am enjoying this nice weather!
