Congrats on the pups Jim.which dog was the father or did you have her bred? Rex Great Pyrenees was from a litter of 15. I think the first litter is usually smaller. Is this her second litter?
Cuties...I'm still jealous of you barn. Sure wish I would have bought an old farm with an old barn.
@Cindlady who are you making the pens for? When I was at the Midwest Horse fair the Renaissance Fair had a booth there. That's who you make them for right.
I got a surprise phone call yesterday from my little niece. Adalyn who is now 4 yrs old. She told me about her new puppy named cheesy. Then she said it had wings. She kept talking about her and I really believed she had one and that's why they called. I was sitting in the truck at the grocery store and had the biggest smile on my face. I really needed to get going but this time was priceless so I kept talking. She said her little sister Maryn loves to cutle the puppy. Puppy slept with her last night and the story went on and on. Her Mom came in her room and said there is no puppy ! Ah man I was so excited about the new puppy. But I kept playing along. Then she said she would be up north here in 10 minutes. Then it was 5 minutes ! I said I thought you were upstairs in your room. She said yes in their camper upstairs and Dad is driving the camper and just came up and checked on them!
Omg it was the cutest thing. My sister (her gma) said she liked to tell stories but now I've heard them first hand.
She told her friends once that the boogie man lived at my house ! LOL
We talked for 36 minutes. So now I know we are for sure related. She's inherited my gift to gab.
b !
Kids are Priceless...can't wait to see her this weekend. We're gonna paint some rocks !

Ooh, painting rocks! I love to paint rocks. My mom made a homemade paint for painting rocks. don't know what it was made of, but after we had fallen out of love (or forgotten about) our rocks she would throw them in a bucket of water and they would rinse clean. with 5 kids in the family, plus additional neighborhood kids even rocks needed to be recycled.

Congrats on all the puppies, Jim!

I'm so sorry about Blake's loss, Cuties! XOXO

An absolutely beautiful day here! I've been putting the big chickaroos in the back yard with the littles in the tractor - all except the wounded hen who will not cross over the place where she was attacked. She is very skittish now and hides in the coop or in the bushes behind the tractor shed. Poor thing is OK physically but she has been terribly traumatized.

I just hope the #(%$&$* predator doesn't show up and find her out there alone!

My mom and I just finished processing HUNDREDS (maybe even more than 1000) books of all kinds. One of these Saturdays I'm going to have a huge half-price book sale before I put them inside on the shelves. I won't have enough room for them if I don't!

I'm going back out to paint in this lovely weather. Have a GREAT day, all!!
