Nice day here.....I always keep my rows nice and wide for room to work, and always rotate crops in a prolly 5 year rotation...so where maters are this year, won't be again for 5 years. Jim, some years the potato beetles are worse than others. In the really bad years, I will get a few to pick off. I haven't had any in over 5 years....
Wish I could help others with extra chicks, but need to keep the ones I have...sorry.
Monthly meeting at Camp tonight....hope it is a short one...to nice to be dealing with business of any kind.
Time to go till the garden before the squash starts to spread out....I have a few cuke leaves that are I think burnt from a little too much fertilizer ( chicken manure )...I really laid it on this Spring.
I see that sandhill preservation sells ground cheery seeds. I've never grown them or eaten them. Are they just for jellies Irish?
