Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Awww Jim your pup is so sweet and furry!

Had pan fried Walleye and Sweet Corn yum....

Cindy so sorry your neighbor is what he is and I think just calling the police about the wounded animals would be a good thing... it may stir the hornets nest, but no animal deserves to be hurt just cause the neighbor is an Ahole....
On an lighter note I do have one 8 week old BLSW Roo and some older girls if your friend is interested...

Z.... found out why they weren't laying.... seems they liked to lay in the brooding house... Must be late afternoon layers, cause I don't let them mingle until I get home from work. Otherwise the old ladies would eat the chick starter. The broody went back to be with her old friends and when I bent down looked in I could see an egg... figured it was her back on track. Gary went to retrieve the egg and found another half dozen....Chickens are just like us women... figure us out and we will change

Going to be a hot weekend... Maxwell street days here on State Street, paddle and portage across the capital...and the County fair... Time to kick back and enjoy?

Good to hear you still can enjoy fresh eggs Mom. I managed to sell 3 doz to my daughters co- workers on the Rez....gave him a great deal....3 doz for $5....it's fun being generous with the eggs.

Care to share your brine recipe glarner?

Keep Cool... bigz

I couldn't agree more!

I think Zeke is an absolutely perfect name for your new pup Jim.

You beat me to it. I was just thinking this afternoon to name my next lav roo after the big guy. That's too weird.

Cind, I agree with momg that you should call the police and file a report with them. That way if it ever happens again, they will have it on file and know that he is a habitual offender. Heck, that could even be seen as animal abuse and worse. I would not let him off easy for killing your poor TomTom and wounding your cat. He should have to pay for her vet bills at the very least, the dirty rat.

Turkeys don't die naturally of BBs.

Hi All!

Thanks for the empathy. It's a bit complicated with him (the neighbor) he's friends with the board member across the street. He's been here over 20 years, us 6.

Made seafood salad for supper Sat. No cooking in the heat! I'll stay in my room most of the day and do chicken chores in little bits like I did today.

Sorry, I don't think that guy is looking for more "lawn ornaments" than what I can give him LOL The advantage of getting them all from me is mine all get along as well as you could hope for. With no hens there should be very few disputes. The only thing they might fight over is a new pecking order since the "head roo" I'm keeping. Although, since they are all lesser roos, that may be already established.

That's it.... Night All!

Cin Just got to reading your message....it is rotten to have rotten neighbors....we have good ones for the most part.....one does a bit of drinking and mouths off every now and then.....we let him rant and after a while....he comes over with his head hung low.....takes all kinds...but, certainly would try to catch this guy on camera if he is killing your animals....
