Yep, busy here too....I still have carrots, beets, winter squash, broccoli to harvest some more of...haven't tried the winter squash yet...plenty of it there.

Suzie is makin hash browns from scratch tonight to go with burgers off the grill... should be huntin...but this is fun and tasty....

Officially kicked our chicks out of the garage and into the coop. Will probably keep the heat lamp there until the are 7-8 weeks, we'll see how it goes.

Pile of the roof boards taken down so far, these are all 10" and from 13-19 ft long.

Pillars from the front of the old farm house where I'm tearing down the barn that will be used on my walk out deck from dormer.

12" wide planks from the walls of the barn.

Pile of tin, with the roof nearly complete this pile doesn't even look dented. I may just have enough to redo my barn roof before this is over.

All but the dormer is roofed and need ridgecap on the peak above bathroom yet.

Finally again it let me upload photos. Today I'll be tyvec'ing the walls and starting to put the boards on. I'm exhausted period. The past few days I think my Lupus is flaring up again as my coordination is not working so well and brain response either. I could not even do simple math 2 days ago, Tyler had to do it all for me. Very frustrating. Also my limbs just would not cooperate. I'm sure I'm pushing myself to hard but this has to get done, winter is coming on very fast here and hope to be in here within the next 2 weeks.
My BLRW hen had been sitting on 28 eggs, first time mom. She hatched 3 and left the rest to freeze the night before. I guess she knew I did not need anymore chicks right now. I already have 19 2wk olds in house growing and a dozen a few months old out in the coop. My poor neglected birds are molting up a storm, there whole run is nothing but feathers. No time right now to rake it out. Seen the SSf2 hen gathering feathers to build a nest, she sure must not have gotten the extended weather report here. My Muskovies are huge, most are bigger than their parents and they are a very beautiful bunch. Haven't sold a one so looks like they will be staying here as I heard they eat there weight in bugs daily? I know they are constantly out there eating away and anything around here to help keep the mosquito population down is worthy to keep. My old pony mare isn't looking well, dropping weight. She's 23 presumably,, just a guesstimate from when I got her 14years ago. She had a really rough life prior so I'm sure that took some years off her. Nothing else new that I can think of. Love that flyer Cindy.
