Delish, yea, I was worried about that hill too. If you take much down then you'll have lots of stairs. I can take you places now and then but I hope someone can get you places as needed. There is NOT a good taxi service out here. A few have come and gone but it hasn't worked out here. I would also make sure you can have your birds on that side of the road.

Might be getting a few production reds from a guy at work to replace my unfortunate happenings earlier in the week. He got them as day olds May 1st and they haven't laid for him yet. He's not sure what he's doing wrong so hopefully I can get em rollin.

Does your friend have a lot of them?
Or is he selling some to you because you lost yours.?
If he isn't charging an arm and a leg for them, and he wants to sell some, I would take a half dozen or so ..

Afternoon to All....went and cut our Christmas tree today. Prolly get it up and working tomorrow.

Suzie made a huge kettle of bean soup today from our home grown cranberry beans...tons of ham and stewed tomatoes and garden carrots too....home made bread rolls will be baked in time for supper.

This is the busy time of year for sure Cind....hope you are feeling better soon!

He's havin second thoughts about giving me any even. He's gonna give them another month I guess and see if he can get em to lay. Got your bags today too btw so I'll be getting ahold of ya soon to get em to ya. Might go to Pulaski tomorrow for a couple Easter eggers if I don't end up having other stuff going on. Middle of December and I'm in the back yard in a sweatshirt having a big ol bonfire. So cool!

I let DD #1 use my Blazer for a couple of days,, the fuel gauge doesn't work so we have to set the trip odometer when we fill up.. well, she set the trip odometer when she added gas, but she didn't fill the tank.. so, guess who ran out of gas today.??
one hint, it wasn't her ..

Annie made a big kettle of beef barley soup today..
but we are going to play cards at the restaurant tonight, so she decided we will eat there, too.. so the soup will be for tomorrow .. it always tastes better the next day anyhow..

Hi guys!!
The Wyandottes are laying great! An egg from each girl today. It is awesome to hatch in January because of the great egg production we get this time of year. But hate brooding those peanuts this time of year! I am firing up the bator very soon. Been collecting this week.
We got out tree today.
