Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Also,I just woke up and came downstairs. My wife's friend just bought wifey a new cockitiel,or however you spell it. Geezz.....,we are getting to be petting zoo status around here. We went from having my hunting dog to-a cat,2 birds,a chinchilla, and my 13 chickens,of coarse. We also got a horse and pony, but they are boarded. This in the last 10 months.
Holy balls you ain't kidding about a petting zoo. I'd start charging admission

The wind did find it's way here, and is still hangin around. I'm in Northeast Waupaca County near Marion cw, if you know where that is? It's where the men are good looking and the women are strong.... Suzie loves it when I say that!

Good thing nobody was hit with flying stuff drake.... be nice when this blows threw....gonna be a nice one tomorrow I'm thinkin.

Yup I know about a where your talking. I'm up in Antigo and the wind is here for sure. It's unbelievable windy and sure cuts the temperature.

Hi All!

We were one of the places it was real windy! I didn't make it to town so I don't know if there was damage. Our place did pretty good, not even the branch we were sure was going to come down, made it through. Power went out at DH's work though.

LOL Petting Zoo? I had a Pet Shop for a few years and we lost our lease so had to do something with over 100 animals within a couple of months! What I couldn't sell came home with us. Have you ever seen anyone take 7-9 ferrets for a walk..... all at once? Plus snakes and birds and lizards and rats and mice and chinchillas and the 7 cats and 1 very patient dog!

Night All!

You got me beat! I know people who have more animals than me,but we went from 1 dog to chaos in less than a year. BTW,we got a cockatoo, not a cockateil,I didn't know there was a difference. Guess the teils are smaller. The other bird is an African Gray parrot.

Had one of my sons go out this AM and pick up the fallen fence panels and put behind a storage shed so they stay intact. I figure I can't dig post holes for another few months,so I'll have a project waiting in the spring. Just as well. My left hand is almost useless right now anyway (and I'm left handed!). Feels like either arthritis or tendonitis. No way I can put up a fence feeling like this.

The hens RAN out of the coop again today! They seem so happy the warm weather is here, for now.

Well hello fellow lefty! My hands have been a struggle lately too. I had carpal tunnel surgery on my left one when I was 19 and my right one needed to be done then too but I still haven't had it done(9 years later). But it's been bothering me a lot lately so maybe soon I'll go get it fixed up.

Went to the Hutchinson swap yesterday and brought home 14 more birds. Noone to come along, just me and grand daughter. Noone can complain as they let me go alone! I got Tyler a very nice LF Buff Cochin pair, Black Australorp pair, Snowy Call pair and Salmon Faverolles Bantam cock with 4 ladies. And got myself a Mille Fleur OEGB pair and a black mottled Serama mix hen. Alot of people and birds. Was very hard getting around having to push a stroller while making many trips back to the truck to unload.

Race, Race, Race Day to everyone....finally the start of the season for reasons today. Hoping Junior can pull off a win today.

Nice looking roo BBP, and a good looking comb for the end of Winter. You must have the ventilation tweaked just about perfect.

That's quite a haul Stacy. Glad you found something you wanted to buy. Were there any LF Light Brahmas there?

Cleaned up the hump of ice in front of the overhead door yesterday that is created by the steel roof dripping onto the concrete. Feels good to drive in and out without the speed bump that was there.
