Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Soooo, now my two girls that I thought was brooding, maybe not, maybe I just have some really weird birds. They are still on the nest, at least one went back on the same nest....the other one left the nest with 5 eggs in it and went over to another one and sat on it all day.....Don't know what to do except watch and let nature do her job.l My garden stuff is looking good but some of the peppers do not look any bigger than when I first put them in the ground, and not a real problem with weeds for a first time garden. Except for the peas and beans.

when you plant peppers, take off the bottom row of leaves,
then when you stick them into the ground, bury them all the way to the bottom row of leaves that are left..
If you want to try it, you could dig one up and re-plant it.
I plant tomato plants the same way

I have 2 geese coming out of their shells right now.
I can hear them peeping and moving the shells around..
I never can relax until they start walking around.
I raised the humidity up to 65%

It is nice and cool out this morning,
I would like to be out there tilling the corn rows, but I can't leave these goslings until they are hatched..

......jiminwisc........

they are hatched,, I went out and did 4 rows of corn,
I need a spotter for the last 3 rows. can't tell the corn from the weeds.

It is warming up

good morning,

might get some needed rain today, if it doesn't come I am going to use the hose.

the two goslings are looking fine this morning, the one that was all matted down is getting fluffed up.

Do you know where down comes from? Geese? Nope...
horses..
just watch about any cowboy movie.
they always say, "get down off of that horse"..

Hmm, just had the appliance guy out to fix a 1 year old $550 refrigerator. It would cost $700 to fix it. What to do??????

UNBELIEVABLE !!!

can we say "Holey Hell" boys and girls ?

I would go to the refrigerator store and raise some "HH".

Otherwise it is a no brainer,, go to a different refrigerator store and buy one ..

then tell everybody you know or ever meet about the dud one.. and don't forget to mention the store name and the brand name.
and I think if it were me, I would tell that store what my plans were.

IMHO.

and here I sit all put out because my 15 year old chainsaw starter rope broke already,

Beautiful strawberry picking day....oh my are they huge and perfect...the peas are the same way. Me and jennie picked 20lbs of berries and 10lbs of sugar snap peas...I also ate lbs of both while picking.....time to get out there bl4. Virgin rows all unpicked.

Time to go till and hill the spuds.

Sorry to hear about the fridge wee.....they don't make stuff like they use. I'd also try to get the store to have some responsibility.

good afternoon,
I got the new rope on the chain saw.
I pulled gently on it just to see if I had it installed correctly,
It started ! I wasn't expecting that ..

Frankie had one female puppy yesterday.
She had it under the truck. we didn't know how many she had, but it bugged Annie until just now. she reached under the truck and pulled out one puppy, and that is all there was.

Annie hand weeded one row of corn,.
I put the new rubber hose washers in and watered the whole corn patch, tomatoes, beans and peppers.
I watered for a couple of hours.

the corn has many blank patches in the rows. I don't think Kalib was paying attention to the planter. I will hand plant the missed areas.
