Tis the day before Christmas Eve, and my days seem all mixed up this week....the snow is again starting to fall here, and it seems white enough already....gotta love Mother Nature...she knows best you know?

Hoping everyone is goodie, and the Christmas Spirit is making it's way your way.....

The flocks are doing well without their freedom like most of the year. I managed to find a few frozen eggs under the nesting hutch....silly hens, how they manage to change things up from normal daily stuff just for fun, I guess.

Yup, started snowing here about an hour ago. while
I was at Manard's buying 4 windshield wiper blades .
couldn't find the peat moss. nobody in the garden section to ask, either.
Yesterday I went and plowed real good and got everything cleaned up. this new snow will not be too bad to plow.

got cracked corn for the geese. they love it.

I have quite the feeling of accomplishment. Years ago I bought a quilting frame & machine from an elderly friend who was downsizing. It's been laying disassembled all around my house, garage, and barn ever since.

I FINALLY cleared out some space and set the thing up. The friend whom I bought it from has only been dead for 2 years, sigh. Anyway I hope to test it out today.

Also unclogged the drain filter in the washing machine. Took me a while to find it, although it shouldn't have. Clogged washers and vacuums are a way of life in this multi-pet household.

Now it's time to check the vast number of mousetraps I strategically placed last night. The little buggers are really taking over

good morning,

I am killing time here in the puter room. there was talk of going to breakfast with DD#2 , but I don't know what is going on, so I just will bide my time.

Annie handed me a mouse trap last night, there is a mouse making a nest out of the toilet paper stored under the bathroom sink. this morning, that particular mouse will not be building anything any more..

whether you like snow or not, when it is like today , all stuck in the tree branches. you gotta admit that it is pretty.

I am going to make a trip to F&F to get some peat moss.
tried to find it at Menard's yesterday, but there was nobody in the garden section to help me, ****** near dark in that warehouse..

I think my Mom had a quilting frame. is it a big square frame with millions of tiny nails sticking up ?

time to go water and feed the masses. maybe will plow if there is enough to bother with..

Merry Christmas Morning.

I have no plans to go anywhere today.
and as far as I know, nobody is coming here.
DD Brenda came last night with her BF; just to snatch a few cut out cookies.
Annie has to go to Mosinee to work this afternoon.
I think she will leave early enough to miss the rain or whatever is in store for us.
I got up at 3:3o and 6:3o to let Frankie out and back in.
she is making a game of this. I will have to spoil her fun.

seems to me you hit a deer not too long ago ..
do you need a special license to hunt deer with a truck ? I hope it wasn't one of Santa's..
