Kinda figured that was the case bl4, that tarter musta been different than usual for sure...fries look good too. Warm enough for me today....picked up a watermelon and scooped out the good stuff..the hens are enjoying finishing up the melon I left for them. Suzie did some painting this morning, but the house can wait till tomorrow for some more painting. I picked prolly 3lbs of my sparegus here so far.....tomorrow it will be sparegus with onions and mushrooms topped with pepperjack cheese and baked in a pie plate till golden brown..... served with grilled chicken done to perfection and ho-made potato salad....prolly a beer for wash, just sayin.

Venison steaks on the grill here, made the tater salad yesterday.....

Wish I had asparagus...... can’t grow it due to the lovely trees on this property.

Bigz, I think we were going to compare our salsas... I've got a jar ready to go (along with chips). I just need to know what else to bring, besides hubby.

No problem with the taste test, it will be fun to compare. We have a pot luck sometime after noon, so bring a dish of something to share. Suzie is making 6 layer dinner..it's a easy one pot dish. We always have had a raffle for raising funds, but with the smaller group of folks maybe will just ask for a donation to cover the rental costs....every little bit helps...we just kinda wing it...LOL! Good to hear you both can make it.

well, finally I can use my puter again.
I was offline since Sat Morning.

DD Barby just came and re-booted for me.

I got the AC installed. just have to make a seal to the window sash yet.

I took pictures..

we are shooting for Sat, too. Annie does not want to stay over night , though., but we will hang around the fire pit for awhile.

I am thinking of making cowboy beans for the potluck..

Sweet..nothing better than cowboy beans Jim, if that's what you decide. I suppose I'll be cutting grass again before the weekend down there...where does the do nothing time go?
Thanks to the vets on this important day.... our freedom provided by you guys is priceless.
