Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

See? this is how rumors get started..
LOL it is my son, not my grandson..
He was just ten feet from the man when he fired the first shot. there was a door ten feet away also.. he chose to run out the door..
four people were wounded.. the shooter was killed by the police..
the shooter was a Japanese employee..
You won't hear that on any news broadcast..

@jvls1942 Glad to hear that your son is OK. He's probably pretty shaken up though, I know I would be.
We are driving down to Ripon on Sat. morning to look at a subcompact tractor for me. I think DH is tired of me using "his" tractor for my chores. Seems anytime I want to use the tractor, he is on it or vice-versa. This onw wil lbe a nice little one for working in my garden.

yep, and once he gets his hands on the sub, nobody will want to use the big one..
I looked at subs before I bought my Oliver 55. I love Ollie, but I would gladly trade him for a sub..
much more handy in the garden..

The deal is a really good price for a brand new tractor, loader, mid-mount mower, and backhoe. With the snowblower added on, it will cost us the same as buying a new John Deere sub-compact with just the tractor, loader and snowblower. Which is why we are willing to drive 2 hours to check it out.

I like the idea of the backhoe.
I never ran one, but it sure would come in handy when planting trees or just about any kind of large plant.
where I am trying to plant my edible landscape is just about void of deep top soil. so I have to dig large holes and fill them with dirt and compost. there are lots of rocks to remove .. makes it really rough to rototill..
However, if you are lacking room, you can park the sub here for as long as you like,,,with the keys in it..

@jvls1942 I was looking at the barn this morning and I am not sure the sub-compact will fit in there ... with the ROPS up. I may have to drop the ROPS to get it in the barn.

However, we currently park the lawnmower that this is replacing in the machine shed. so I may get to park it in there next to the Kubota. Last option is the haymow of the barn, where we have the boat. We have a dirt ramp up to the haymow, but I really want ot beef up the floor before putting it up there. DH says it is fine, I look at all the post beetle dust down below and shudder.

What model Kubota are you looking at? I'm also shopping for one and looking at the L3901. Camp just bought a new Deere and we simply took the ROPS off...it is a pain when mowing because it always hits tree branches even when they are dropped....
