Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Hey all! I have 1 (maybe 2-depending on if there are 3 or not) young cockerel that needs a new home. 7 week old EE and just started crowing-pretty rust and silver color. Can send pics to anyone who is interested. Willing to drive a bit to meet. I am about 30 min from the MN border in Western/Central WI. PM if interested or if you know of anyone that is.

Thanks!
I wish i could take them. We are looking at moving but have to stay within the southwest region of Wisconsin. Then i can have a rooster.

well, fall is here, no doubt about it.
I am stalling about going outside. I want to finish the junk metal pile today so I can call the junk man.
After that, I am going to can apple pie filling. we got three varieties of apples from a friend. I want to make a 7 quart batch of each. 21 pies is a lotta pies. if there are any apples left over, I will combine them and make apple sauce.
Annie made freezer jam out of the raspberries that DD gave to us.
A friend brought us three pounds of
ground beef from a steer they had butchered.

:frow I don't think I've found my way to the Wisconsin thread yet. Hello from Dodge!

We have a small homestead in progress. All of our birds are 4-5 months old now, with 29 chickens (mostly Swedish Flower Hens), 8 Sweetgrass turkeys (picking up 5 more from the original order tomorrow), 8 bantam show ducks (4 White Calls and 4 Black East Indies), 2 female geese (Pilgrim and Buff), and 3 female medium sized ducks (Buff, Cayuga, and Blue Swedish). I have guinea keets on order for next spring, and we hope to add quail and pheasants yet. I also want to start another small chicken coop of colored egg layers.

Next year we hope to add bees and dairy sheep. We've been working on our garden, orchard, and fruit bushes as well. :)
