Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

i THINK FLEET and sunnyside are seasonal. you might
not get any at this time of the year.
If you don't mind getting adult ducks, there are some
on craigs list. I didn't read all of the ads, but there were
muscovy, call and runners. $10/ea. not bad if you consider
the price of babies and the cost of raising them up to adult.

Thanks Jim and TOR. How do like the gauge on the air chuck TOR?
I've been considering one of those for a while. The tire gauges really don't last very long in my experience with them. I always have an extra new one in the toolbox to replace the one that is going to fail.

Im actually waiting till spring, just want to get my order in.

I had one of those gauges like the service stations
used to have. but around here, things grow legs
and walk away. I like the kind that hold the reading
until you reset it. I also have digital. I use which ever
one I can find when I need one. I always had one in
the door pocket in the pickup truck, but I don't have
the truck anymore..

Use mine quite often. I like it. Is it really accurate, suppose as accurate as the airgauges these days. last year bought a better one. Amazon think? I have bought others Farm Fleet etc they seem to fall apart. one thing or another. This one is holding up so far. Just like the old gas station kind.
Things just are not made to last like years ago, made to last long enough so a person has to buy another.
Mine sits in the shed outside with air compressor and gets used and abused.

I also have couple air gauges, but like mentioned they seem to fall apart also. I dont use them much. I have cheapos.

I got mine chickens at Farm and fleet. Thanks ill definitely look into Sunnyside.
I have ordered Sunnyside 3 different times and have had good luck with them. I think they are just as competitive in price with chicks and shipping as other hatcheries. Also since they are being shipped they are closer.
Benefit of farm fleet dont pay shipping.

think I might get Orpingtons and Wyandotte this year order from Farm Fleet

I just looked up Sunnyside to see what's what. I can't believe they added all those varieties. They had such a limited amount to choose from in the past. They have both breeds you thinking about TOR. Don't know if you knew that or not.
I'll check out Amazon for the gauge on the chuck too.
I have a digital gauge too Jim. I need to keep it in the house, so the batteries keep a charge. It is mostly plastic like everything else.

No I didnt all I have ordered is rangers from them. I will have to look. I know their variety is limited.

I had lots of different breeds. Buff Orpingtons
never let me down.
Not a flighty bird. very calm.
every once in a while there would be one that
is not a hen, or a rooster..
Only thing I read is they are a broody hen, tired of broody hens. Think I will give them a try, maybe 6 of each variety. Then I could change my mind by next week. Like to have 10 new hens anyway going into next winter.
