Dumb question, why not just take the old bedding and till it in the garden, or throw it over the garden till you till it in.
Technically that is not a compost pile.

I hand do our garden, as our tiller is broke, we either borrow a friends or we rake up the soil super well. Technically we arent suppose to use and manure in our gardens, but we have before.

Us very old people would not knuckle under to that kind
of harassment from a neighbor or the town..
It doesn't make any sense to have chickens
and not be able to use their manure..
What kind of dolts are on the town
board, anyhow ?
it is snowing here, now. about 3" so far. 3AM..
Annie just HAD to plug in the window AC last week.
so now we can't completely close the window.

waterfall..
She got up and went into the spare bedroom.

The main person on the town board can do what ever he wants as he lives in the country, he doesnt care anout others for the past 9 years we have lived here, everyone has wanted him off except for a few people.

an effort and vote him out.. vote them all out and
make a fresh start..

Sounds like some dooknobs in government office there. How the heck suppose to have a nice garden if you cannot feed the plants what they need?

Snow reports are varied around me. Needed some moisture and got it. Sure am tired of snow though. Trees down on town road, wife called in missed the day at work. I have some trimming and sawing to do i see. Part of cedar tree down in drive way. power was out.

I was expecting snow like that and when I woke up there was somewhere between one and two inches outside at the most and all the roads were clear

I got 15 to 20 inches of snow, some of trees took a beating. Wonder how many older buildings went down.

Went into town quite a few branch piles or people working on cleaning up.

talk to a guy in town, attachment to barn went down with his cousins new ATV inside. Ouch.

He more than likely will be this year.. We plan on moving soon anyway, the place we were going to move had a few things that were not right with it and we didnt want to fix also it had previously had fires apparently. We have found a few others but they go quickly.
