Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

we had a nice thunderstorm at 4AM. that should make the
May flowers bloom..
I would love to find an interested kid that would like
to learn some woodworking skills. I know a few tricks
that I could teach ..
Does Wausau West or East High Schools have a woodworking program? What about a local tech school?

good ideas,
up until a year ago, my nephew was the industrial arts
teacher at Wausau East. I asked him about getting a
kid. There were no takers. I also asked about hiring
one for yard work. no takers.
we worked in the shop for awhile today.
I broke down and lit a fire in the wood stove.
it didn't take long to heat it up to comfortable.
I am going to do that again tomorrow.
It is still a mess, but each day we get a little
more done.. inch by inch,, step by step..
I have a wood stove to get rid of.
it was firebrick lined. I took all of
the bricks out so it will be light
to ride on the dolly. It is a real
nice stove, but the damper is shot.
I used to heat my house with it.
free to anybody who wants to pick it up.

Good Saturday to you all! Sorry to hear that many of you still have snow. Temps are just under 40 here today but no snow sticking on the ground.
I picked up a new batch of chicks today: salmon faverolles, d'uccles, and easter eggers. As always their fluffy butts are too cute!
The fluffy butts are always cute! I hope the cold weather goes away soon..

northern lights out, just seeing white no colors. Took my daughter top hill where dark, sat for half hour.

Reports in California and Oklahoma, Nevada amongst many others with some nice pictures with lots colors, cant be here where I live though. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

You had to use your phone camera in night mode to capture some of the color. We were out until midnight watching them dance over the sky…. They extended almost completely from North to South….
