OH, wait, because that's exactly what it's gonna do for the next 24 hours, that's why....

All I can say is it is a really good thing I am like 2 miles south of hwy 29, you folks north of it are going to get pounded....

Like 2 miles is gonna make a big difference. Oh well, we love it or we wouldn't be here, right? Anyhow, the fire is delightful, and it's time to move the bunnies back into the mini barn. STAY SAFE ALL. It was already getting nasty out there!

Buck Creek Chickens - I am probably to far from you but I guess that's up to you. I will try to get some pictures and post it here.

Went in to Appleton, stopped at Woodmans and then came home! I have a nice beef roast slowly cooking in the oven, and a mushroom barley soup simmering away on the stove..... the house smells heavenly!

I am NOT looking forward to diving BACK into Appleton this afternoon...... maybe I can get DH to do it.......

The drive in tomorrow morning sounds like it is going to be hair raising as well.....



I am getting roughly 2 eggs a day from the ducks and I am pretty sure Jules is not laying yet since she never laid any eggs while she was inside for the week....... she sure does look terrible. She has bald patches all around her eyes and from the top of her head all the way down her neck (TO, put that drake in with your geese!)

Ok, off to veg on the couch and watch whatever I want!!!!

Got the chicken room cleaned out, have it half barricaded the room so they don't have ALL of it to use... a light on one side for the littler ones to warm under.
They are already running around and having fun.

Cough cough cough...
I called the doc, they said if I am not so short of breath my inhaler can't handle it, I need to go in, or in a week it doesn't get better....
BLEH!!

I just got off the phone with a very nice lady who is giving me a blind Barred Rock...
I think I will email Elaine and ask her if she wants her....
If not she can hang out with my Polish and silkies...they can't see anything anyway..

I swear I didn't do any dancing this time. I actually plan on starting my seeds tonight. I did start some about a month ago. Some were " The Wonder Egg", which is an egg plant/bush. Never seen those before. Thought I'd give them a try. I got them at The Dollar General for $4.50 with a ton of seeds.

We'll see how it goes. Others are tomatoes and peppers and some flowers. I forget whatelse.

SLUSHY!!! Is the word of the day here. Had to turn on the 4 wheel drive just to drive in town today.

Busy. Busy.

I knew I did TOO good last year! relaxed a little and suffer from it. tilt, reminds me, would the lack of enough angle in your "turns" result in the cord being exposed after hatch? (like it stuck to the shell, not allowing it to "go in", cause it didn't get turned enough?) I confussed even me with that Question.

I tilt my eggs from side to side, worked last year?
