Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Any idea what this is? Discovered it the other morning when I went to check for eggs (our four remaining big girls are still on strike). Don’t know what to think of this.
Keep an eye out on them as whoever laid it could have an infection. That doesn't really look like a lash egg but regardless whatever it is, it came out of a hen, and that means one of them most likely has an infection of their oviduct called salpingitis. She might need antibiotics.

Never heard of a lash egg before or salpingitis, had to do some research.
Same here, but I've done a lot of reading in the past several years and see it on BYC and the poultry groups on Facebook occasionally. No, I don't hang out on Facebook, but I'm in about 6 Wisconsin-based poultry groups I post my chicks for sale in. I do pretty well that way.

I'd sure be interested in knowing what those 6 poultry forums in Wisconsin are, and the fact that you sell chicks, I might be interested.
I have 12 hens that lay 2 or 3 eggs a day. That's not working out. I think I need to start over. I might have to contact you.

sorry, I have no chickens to pluck.
this is not a whiz bang plucker.
with this one you hold on to the chicken and roll it over. can do a chicken in less than a minute once you do enough of them and get the hang of it.
I did hundreds of them.,
this plucker came from a chicken processor who was going out of business.
