Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Tyler, stick it out if you can. It is SO HARD to go back. I did it when my oldest was 1 and it was the toughest 4 years but I made it through...... and now I am going to subject myself to it again.

Shows what a poor job market and a recession can do for a degree!

Besides, it will look better for the future of your business.

I have the 'bator up and running, now just waiting impatiently for eggs! They should go in on Friday for a hatch date of appx. Mar 12-13th.

Ham and potatoes tonight for dinner along with some veggies of some kind (DH is picking them up).

It was great meeting with Terry O this afternoon, especially since we are probably only about 30 minutes from each other! It's nice to be able to talk with someone who likes chickens just a much:D.

Today was day 21 and our 3rd egg hatched out, it was a little stuck in the shell once it unzippped the shell and since we have done everything we read not to do with this hatch, we helped it finish getting out(boy was it mad having it's butt stuck to the side of the shell). So far it is cheeping and moving about the incuabtor as it is drying out. Probably will move this chick to the brooder with its siblings tomorrow. No activity from the 4th egg as of yet.

It will be fun to see how Terry's eggs do both under our now very happy broody-BLUE and the incubator! We give up dates!
