Good morning! Yup, that Scottie is a "Triple Crown Winner" of the dog show world. Bet his pups are worth a fortune! Give me my farm dogs any day! So today I get the coffee all to myself and I have the day to enjoy it too! Have to pick up some hay at noon and then I am heading out to H&R's place to see her new chicks and HM bator! She has offered to "test hatch" some eggs for me too! (THANKS!) Then I will at least know if my roos are doing their job.
I dropped some eggs off at a little breakfast joint yesterday. He was glad to have them. I guess he has some customers that prefer farm eggs...go figure--DUH! He get his at Sam's. I am hoping that he will call me when his customers rave about my eggs! Is this opening a can of worms do you think? He wanted to pay me for them but I wouldnt let him.

And....what a yucky morning. I got up at 4am.....

......was going to sent babylady4 a PM....and what happens?????? My computer DIED! It won't even turn on! So...I get up...take a shower...kids up....bath for the little one...take older one to school....(this is a treat for him) ........what to get to the library to use the computer....they don't open til 9am.....so I'm going to take my computer to the computer store here in town.....THEY don't open til 9am too.

SO...I go to Kmart, thinking I can get a few things.....THEY don't open until 8am.

This is not a good start. So...I probably won't be on much for a little while.

BUT....I have some GOOD news. DH has agreed to let me get my own bator!

So I need to look for one online before my time runs out.

Buck Creek Chickens... Jung's is a dangerous place indeed. They're just spitting distance from me! Yikes!!

We're getting two new sex linked hens in the next week or so. The kids want to name them Miley and Millie.

Welcome to Oshkosh Baby Lady!

I am here at the UWOshkosh computer lab and debating whether I should drop out or not. hmmm...

Instead of writing a paper today I am here on BYC and answering customer emails. I would have dropped a while ago if my dad wouldn't have yelled at me for considering it.

I can't believe it! My computer is back home already! AND it only cost $52.75 to fix.

He said that there was 398 spy ware in here.

He said it was super dusty and that was the main problem. Here I thought I was going to have to buy a whole new hard drive. I am relieved.


Congrats babylady4! That's awesome.

But now here's the bad news. I decided to crack open the eggs today. They still have yolks.

But at least I know that they didn't freeze and that Louise did everything possible to hatch them eggs.

And the news on the bator....will be here soon. I ordered it today. Maybe a week or so.

Well my trip to meet HensandRoos went well. i called her the wrong name but...well what do you expect? I was so excited to meet somebody from here! Well not only is she going to try her HM bator on my eggs...I had so many that we decided to put some under her cute little broody banty! That little girl was so happy to have a clutch! We put 11 under her so hopefully she can cover that many. My neighbor always sets 12 under his banties and they do fine. Keep your fingers crossed!
Thanks for the meet-up and for offering to "cook" my eggs! I am anxious to meet the rest of you in June! Terri O
