Duke still not good... eats and drinks some, goes out but not far... seems to be walking a bit better. But now he has a crescent shaped wound the size of a quarter on his hip. Have no clue where he got it! It looks very fresh.

Wrist still screwed... no insurance! I think I may have popped one of the small bones below the pinkie at the wrist.

Still hurts! Have bump there. icing it.

Good Morning Everyone! Feel like I could go back to bed. All the reading has made me tired. So many posts!

Not even gonna try to remember. Going to work on the camper fridge today and weed the mater garden. Maybe mow after the grass drys out. Have been getting 4 eggs a day for quite awhile now. Was thinking about it yesterday and looked in the carton their all slw eggs. Dang P Reds are laying somewhere else! They go in and out of the boxes but don't leave any presents for me.

As far as L's parking spot I started at one end of the drive and worked my way to it. Still have a few low spots in the turn around area but not bad. It's one of those where do you draw the line how much is enough? One things for sure it's a heck of a lot better than before. Had to laugh L parked in her spot and when I went to get the grill goin I noticed that there were only about 6" of tire tracks behind the tires. I looked like the car had gotten dropped from an helocThink tomorrow I'll drag the splitter over to the kids house and split the bigger stuff for em. Then over to the BFF's to cut and split all the tornado damaged stuff. Better busta move!

Well some small brightness, besides the sun.. LOL

I went out this morning and was trying again, in vain to get the mower to start.. DH on his way to work comes over and with three good pulls.. gets it started.
There must be a trick to it, cuz I have more upper arm strength than he does.
Got the front yard mowed and the triangle on the other side of the driveway...
This mower has "intermittent steering".. alot of play in the steering wheel.. 3rd gear is fast enough.. you go careening around the yard, with the wheel jerking left and right as you bounce out of
big divets and holes and mole mounds trying to aim it in the general direction you need it to go...

After you get used to it and have gotten around most of the holes, its fun to drive...

I will get a pic of it up in a day or so.
Now to go get some hay, go ride client's young horse now he has been backed and ridden solo, a rider has been on him 4x now, so should be good...


And PLS.. if you have a nieghbor, friend, co-worker, or fellow/fella who lives down the road and is looking for a horse.. let me know.

God morning all! Thought I would catch up on reading before going to the clients' and then off to the fair to take animals in....of course I had to say hi at least! All young birds are oow out of my house as soon as the chickens go to the fair the quail can take up their new residence! Yeah! They will be happy to get out of the smallish cage they are in with the little guineas. That meatmaker food sure does work! THe guineas that are on it are 4x the size of the two that are left with mamahen! THe duck with the new 15 or so is the bad mama...she just cant seem to keep track of her babies! Well, I guess I know mamas with only twins that cant do it either....and they're PEOPLE!

So I am glad that most are faring well...

Jim you better find that guinea....or maybe it can just become a house bird? Probably better than a dog for an alarm system! Well, I better get off to work! DD19 said she would water for me today so I just have to top off feed and let the birdies out. Oh yeah, and get the tort out of the sink and into his place too....he was having a soak!

Kristip, do you have a close up pic of that comb, and a side shot showing the tail? That's a pretty big comb I think, but EE's can be tricky.

There is an ad on Craigslist for a bunch of chicken stuff. I talked with the guy, and I will probably take some feeders, waterers, heated base and myabe his bator.

FT that's too funny about the typing sounds! I turned my sound off a couple of years ago and only turn it on when there's a vid someone sent me. WCc on/off!

If it's Murray or something along that line it might be the steering sector gear. It's a very poor set up, pressed metal and if it's not greased regularly it eats itself up. And their a real real bear to change. Only did one myself and won't do another. Got the fridge working on elec in the camper

Turned out to be a poor connection. Now on to remounting the awning, power wash it, seal the roof, and haul it back up Nort! That's all. Have to wash and put away the cilantro yet. But got the mater garden weeded. Wow didn't take long to warm up today!

Then as I was finishing de-steming the cilantro thought is was gonna rain. Not suppose to till tonight. Crap just remembered I have strawberries to clean too, DD and I picked them out of their patch. Super sweet berries! TO maybe I missed it but do the new torts have names yet? Gotta go, things to do.
